UPDATE:  Well I made it from 5:00 last night to about 3:00 p.m.  today with out taking any meds.  It jumps between 98.6 - 99.4.  Well at 3:00 it went to 100 so I took some Tylenol.  So there is still a problem even though it is better then it was.  I am praying for a full recovery because if this keeps happening I am going to have to have more tests run.  Thank you for your continued support and prayers.

Good morning!!  I have some very exciting news to announce!  My sister Monica is officially engaged to her boyfriend Gregg Hoolsema!!  Congratulations!!  Our family is so excited for you both and you make a great couple!  We will be looking at a wedding for them some time in the late fall this year.  I'll keep you posted.  I will also try to get a picture of them both from Monica so you can see what he looks like.

The last time I took Tylenol was at 5:30 last night.  I slept cool all night and woke up  cool this morning.  I am praying for another good day today and that the fevers are slowly working their way out of my system.  I will update you all again sometime this afternoon.  I feel all of you praying for me.  Thank you!!

Terrie O.......thanks for stopping by yesterday even though we had to be so far apart from each other. (She works with kids and we were both afraid of germs because my levels are still low)  It was great talking to you even if it was only for a minute.  Thanks also for leaving me some more good books to read and for the fun gift!  Those cinnamon rolls are soooo good!

UPDATE:  Hello everyone!  Well I went almost 24 hours with out any Tylenol, Advil or Aleve!  My temp stayed between 98.4 - 99.4 which is a HUGE improvement!  But right now it was creeping to 100 so I took some meds.  I felt pretty good today too.  Was up more then I was down.  I am praying that the night goes just as well and that things will just continue to improve.  Thanks guys for praying so much!  I am taking it easy.....I promise!

Good morning!  I have some good news and some good news.  First, Mike got all of my extensive lab work results back yesterday.  All of the blood work, cultures, swabs and everything else that I did in the ER last week.  Everything came back negative!!  Couldn't find a thing wrong.  My other good news is that I have gone 13 hours with out running a fever!  I had to take medicine only once yesterday and that was it.  I went to bed with a normal temp and woke up with a normal temp.  That is a big improvement.  I am praying that this is finally ending.....or at least getting better.  I will post an update later this afternoon/evening and let you know how today went.  Again, thank you so very much for keeping me in your prayers.

Good morning!  Yesterday was an interesting day.  I went until 2:00 in the afternoon with a low grade temp and then it spiked over 100 and I couldn't get it back down until about 9:00 last night.  I slept at about 99.2 all night. This is day 13.

What is our next step?  Well they want to admit me into the hospital and the infectous disease Dr. who Mike knows well, likes and is very intelligent wants to run a gazillion tests on me to find out why this is happening.  What is the problem with that?  #1  The hospital is the last place I need to be without an immune system right now.  That is walking into a whole host of germs that I can't fight off too well right now.  Sure they can put me into an isolated room but I can still get exposed.  #2  I am tired.  I am done being poked and prodded and tested.  This will be incredibly hard for me.

So my prayer request is that the fever will leave for good before tomorrow and that I will be fully healed.  I know you are all praying hard and I so appreciate it.  I know God is listening and has a plan.  Prayer is so powerful and I have faith that I will be healed.  Thanks for keeping me encouraged.  This has been a little discouraging.

I also want to thank a dear friend of mine Stacey Barbee and family for bringing out dinner to our family last night.  It was insanely delicious.  We have seriously never tasted a better tri-tip.  It would win any contest!  She also brought out hot links (the boys loved that) cheesy potatos, green beans, bread, spinach dip and cheese cake!  We were in heaven!  We so appreciate that Stacey.  That will last us a few days.  You are an awesome cook!

Good Sunday Morning!  Well folks.......I guess I spoke too soon.  I was spiking 100.5 to 100.9 fevers all day yesterday and was down most of the day.  (sigh...)  I stayed cool all night last night.  Mike and I are giving it 14 days.  If at the end of 14 days we do not see improvement we will have to take the next step. (This is day 12)  I will tell you what  that is later.  But I will tell you that it is something that I do not want to do.  I know everyone is praying and I want to thank you so much for that.  I was a little discouraged yesterday because I woke up thinking that I was on the road to recovery.  I trust God and I know it is all in His good time.

Edna:  Mike and I want to be called Poppi and Nanie (pronounced Nahnee).  Jenna and Ryan just love that!

Aunt Maryann:  Yes we will be praying for Olyvia. Thank you so much for all of your awesome advice, for your love and for being such an inspiration to me.  You are such a great witness to us all.

Today is another gift and God is so Good!!!

Good Saturday morning everyone!!!  It looks like I am finally on the mend.  I felt so much better yesterday and was able to be up more then down.  I ran a low grade fever off and on most of the day but nothing like I had before.  Today I feel good and woke up with a normal temp.  I got up and actually made my own breakfast!  WooHoo......I can't begin to tell you how ready I am to be able to take care of myself and my family again.  I promise to take it easy though.  I don't want to overdue things.  My goal is to just take things one day at a time and to get stronger and healthier.  I have a grandson and baby showers coming!!  I also want to get back to work!

Mike and Jeff and Jenna have been awesome in taking such good care of me.  I thank God everyday for the family I have.  They are one of my biggest blessings.  Also.......YOU.......all of my extended family and friends have been a HUGE support to me and my family and I know we are blessed beyond measure.  Thank you so very much for you faithfulness in praying for me and my family.  Thank you for the love and encouragement.  For being such great cheerleaders and for the awesome advice.  I have so many things to say to you and hope to do that soon.

For those of you that have wondered if we are close to any of the devastating fires in California.....no we are not.
