Good Saturday morning!!  What is everyone up to this weekend??

We had a wonderful time last night with my family.  Lots of food was eaten, lots of laughing  and we were able to visit more with my soon to be brother-in-law Gregg.  He is a great guy.....fits in so well with our family and he is getting a fabulous wife!  They make a great couple.  Only like 6 weeks left until their wedding!  It is going to be fabulous!

Today is Jenna's first baby shower and she and I are so excited!  I will take lots of pics and try to post them on Monday.  She is 36 weeks along now.  Jen is feeling great and she and Ryan along with Tyler's grandparents are so anxious for  his arrival!

It was awesome to see some of the girls from work yesterday!  Love and miss you guys!!!

Tomorrow night of course we will be watching football.  The Chargers are going against the Steelers in Pittsburg for the Sunday night game.  GO CHARGERS!!!!!!!

Could you please pray for another friend of our family who is going through a real tough time right now?  They could really use some healing, peace and guidance in their lives.  Brenda Grose.....I am praying for your brother and Dad!!!  Please keep me posted!!  I am praying for your whole family!!

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!!!  I won't be blogging again until Monday.  Today is another gift that I am so thankful for and God is so Good!  Thank you God for the many miracles you give us all!!!

Good Friday morning! I am loving these cool mornings that we are having.  So nice to be able to open up the house for a while. 

If you didn't get a chance to read my update yesterday, my white cell levels did not budge.  They maintained.  However my red blood cells and hemoglobin dropped.  Mike explained to me that after getting that blood transfusion my levels shot up but now my body is doing what it is suppose to.  My old red blood cells are dieing off and my body is regenerating new ones.  But my body is regenerating them very slowly.  I will begin a new 10 day series of white cell booster shots next Wednesday.  I am waiting to hear from my Dr. to see if they want to give me a red cell booster shot too.  I also need to know from my Doc how much longer he thinks it will be before I can return to work.  They aren't so much worried about the red cells......just have to have the white cells in range before they let me work with the kids.  I am still feeling good though.  Thank you God!

In my mind I know that I don't want to catch something from the kids and get sick again, but in my heart I want to be back working with them and my heart is really sad right now.  I know God is saying "not yet".  He is keeping me safe and I know His plans are way better then mine.  I also realize that I need to have a little more patience which is so hard to have sometimes.  So I will keep on working at my body getting stronger so I can be back to work very soon.

My sister's hubby to be is here for a visit and they are both coming down to the valley this afternoon so we can have a get together.  I am planning a great dinner to cook.  All the family is coming over.  Should be lots of fun.

6:40 UPDATE:  I did not hear from my Dr. tonight so that means I will hear from him tomorrow.  I will keep you posted.  Thanks for your prayers and support.  Have a great evening!

3:00 UPDATE:  I am so sorry that it has taken so long to give you an update.  I am still waiting on my oncologist to call me.  My white blood cell count didn't budge.  Still too low.  My red blood cells and hemoglobin dropped.....a lot.  So I am waiting to see what the Dr. says and then I will come back on and update you again.  I will share my feelings on this on my next update.  Please just keep me in your prayers.  Thank you!

Good morning!!  October 1st!  Let the holiday season begin!  How is everyone today?  I am feeling so good.  Today I go into the hospital to find out how my blood levels are doing.  Thank you everyone for keeping me in your prayers.  I am really praying that all the levels are back in range.  I will be going in at about 11:00 this morning.  I will come back on here this afternoon with an update on how it went.

Oh by the way......the baby shower that I told you all about that Jenna's work is giving her is a BIG surprise!  So shhhhhhh......don't tell her.  She won't read the blog because she and I talk about 10 times a day everyday.  I just tell her what I wrote.

Could you all please lift a friend of mine up in prayer today?  This person is under a lot of stress right now over a situation that is happening to their family.  Please pray that the situation will resolve itself smoothly and that they hear good news today.  I really appreciate it.  I will keep you updated.
