Good Thursday morning!  I don't know about you but watching the trapped Chilean miners being rescued on T.V. was incredibly awesome!  I was crying tears of joy.  I thank God that they were all still alive and doing pretty good.

Here is a poem I came across recently and I thought it was fitting for today....

To believe is to know that everyday is a new beginning.  It is to trust that miracles happen, and dreams really do come true.  To believe is to see angels dancing among the clouds, to know the wonder of a stardust sky and the wisdom of the man in the moon.

Prayer requests:  A special anonymous request....that is all I can say for now.  God knows what it is.  Also for a friend who has a big decision to make in her life.  That she will have the wisdom and guidance from God to go in the right direction. 

Romans 5 verses 3 - 5:  We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials for we know that they are good for us--they help us learn to be patient.  And patience develops strength of character in us and helps us trust God more each time we use it until finally our hope and faith are strong and steady.  Then, when that happens, we are able to hold our heads high no matter what happens and know that all is well, for we know how dearly God loves us, and we feel this warm love everywhere within us because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.

Good Wednesday morning!  Hope you are all having a great week so far.  I went to a dinner with some of the ladies from my church last night and had an absolute great time. Nothing like getting together for some food, fellowship and laughter.  I was inspired by everyone there.  Thanks to all the ladies who worked hard to put it together.  It was much appreciated!

Guess what?  My sister Monica and her husband Gregg are going to Europe on October 24 - November 6th.  They will be touring France, Netherlands, Germany and Italy.  I am so happy for them.  What a great trip to take for their one year anniversary!  Can you believe that it has almost been a year since their wedding?  Time is flying by!  I will try to get a few pics from their trip when they get back and post them for you.

I read this yesterday:  The bible is filled with examples of how God loves to use imperfect, ordinary people to do extraordinary things in spite of their weaknesses.  If God only used perfect people, nothing would ever get done, because none of us is flawless.  That God uses imperfect people is encouraging news for all of us.

Prayer requests:  For strength and comfort for the Bryant family as they have the memorial service today for Amber.  Also for the many friends and co-workers that will be attending too.  Also for a couple of people who have asked for prayer that their depression and the circumstances causing it gets better.

Luke 6 verse 38:  For if you give, you will get!  Your gift will return to you in full and overflowing measure, pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, and running over.

I have a date to get my port out.  It will be on Wednesday, October 20th in the afternoon.  I am so very ready to have it removed.  Please pray that it goes smooth. 

I have a few pics to show you of Tyler getting into our computer center and his obsession to push buttons.  This first one is of him looking at Nani saying,"I see the light on the printer machine....can I touch it??"

"Okay Nani, I'm in.  I can touch it now!"  Haha!  Tyler is definitely a button pusher.  He loves to push buttons on cell phones, remote controls, DVD players, etc....

I would like to wish my very sweet friend Peggy Dale a very "Happy Birthday" today!!  Have a fun day today Peggy!!  Let Mick spoil you!! 

Prayer requests:  Continued prayer for those that are looking for a job.  Pray that the right doors and for opportunities to open up soon.  Also for John O'Halloran to continue to heal and for a speedy recovery.  That each day he gets a little stronger.  The O'Halloran Family appreciate all your prayers.  I thank God for all the wonderful answers to prayer already.

Good Monday morning!!  Waking up to a new day is a gift from God, let's appreciate it and please remember that God loves you!  So do I!

How was your weekend everyone?  I had a great day with Tyler on Saturday.  He is keeping me on my toes.  I think his new name is "No Tyler".  haha!  He helped Nani with her chores and we played and played.  Here he is caught in the act of finding the T.V. remote and pushing all of the buttons.

Church was great on Sunday and so was the fund raising BBQ in Imperial for the Bryant family.  Thank you to the "BBQ Guy" for everything he did to make that a success!  But it was a sad day in football for my San Diego Chargers.  Yesterday was the end of a 13 game winning streak against the Oakland Raiders.  What a game it was.  Oh well.....I guess we have to let them have one every now and then.  Maybe we will have another 13 game winning streak starting the next time we play them which will be in December.  I am sure the Thomason and Paramo family's are very happy.  Next week the Chargers are in St.Louis to play the Rams.

Anyone watching the Amazing Race?  Do you have a favorite team yet?

Prayer requests:  For a hedge of protection for my cousin Anthony and his Company who are in a dangerous spot in Iraq right now.  Pray for safety and protection for all of our brave troops that are there.  For peace, comfort and strength for families that have lost a loved one.  For my friend Tisha's mom to gain strength and get well soon.

My San Diego Chargers are playing their rival the Oakland Raiders in Oakland Sunday.  GO CHARGERS!!!

Here is my Tyler pic for today.  He is just the happiest little guy.  He has finally cut a top tooth now.  Should be seeing that in his smiles soon.

When you are doing what you love to do, no one has to motivate you.  You do it for the sheer enjoyment.  Remember the greatest things in life are not things.  Take a little time each day to do what you love and are passionate about.
I received a PRAISE request from a friend/prayer warrior yesterday that is so very thankful to God for all of the wonderful blessings, big and little in her and her family's lives. God continues to be faithful and is good!

Psalms 139 verses 17 & 18: How precious it is, Lord, to realize that you are thinking about me constantly!  I can't even count how many times a day your thoughts turn towards me.  And when I waken in the morning, you are still thinking of me!
