I have lots to tell!  First off.....I was on my knees praying this morning that God would give me a miracle that when I saw the Dr. today the BIG tumor would be gone.  Praise God that it wasn't there!  The huge area that showed up in my brain was edema....swelling of the brain......not a tumor!  My Dr. even had it checked by another Dr. to verify that there was no tumor and he agreed. (The very first radiologist that read it was wrong.)  So I got my miracle!!!!!  Praise God!!!!  Totally happy dancing here!! 

Unfortunately the cancer is back.  He found 8 small tumors.....but said that they can all be healed with radiation therapy.  And guess what?  My oncologist already hooked me up with the radiation Dr. and I have an appointment in San Diego tomorrow at 3:30.  Things are moving and I feel so good that everything is going to be okay.  I will learn what the plan and next step is tomorrow and I will come and share it with you. 

Your prayers are working and God is so good to listen and help me.  He is a God of miracles!  God is so much bigger then this cancer and I just have lots of hope and faith that I will be healed this time again.

The report from Monday's MRI said there was a 7.7 cm tumor (tangerine sized) in Leslie's brain and several smaller ones.  The oncologist said it was too big to treat with radiation so went went today to see Dr Calvin, the neurosurgeon to have the big tumor removed.  Dr Calvin reviewed the MRI last night with one of the radiologists and they say the largest tumor is less than 2 cm, that the 7.7 cm is swelling and edema.  Dr Calvin does not recommend brain surgery  : ) !!!  I'm not much of a mathemetician but a 1.8 cm sphere is 10 times smaller than a 7.7 cm sphere, Hallelujea!!!!

Dr Calvin has started her on a steriod to reduce the swelling in her brain and we will make an appointment to se Dr McClay, the oncologist as soon as possible to start radiation therapy.

My Dr. appointment has been changed to 10:00 in the morning instead of 12:00.  Just wanted to let you know.

Also thank you to the Hobelman family for bringing the delicious brownies out to us tonight.  I could stand to gain some weight before surgery.

Thanks also to Pastors Clay Newman, Johnny Jones and Joe Finnell for coming to our home tonight to pray with us.  What an inspiration you all are to our family.

God is Good!!!

Hey everyone!  To let you all know how much God is listening and answering our prayers and watching over me I have a great little story to share.  It barely happened this morning so I was too rushed to tell it.  Sorry for the wait.

At around 6:50 this morning I got a big wave of anxiety.  It hit hard. I haven't had much of that since July.   I told God that I did not want to go there again and begged for help.  It wasn't getting any better so I reached for some medicine that I did not want to take again to help.  Just as I was going to take it the phone rang.  It was my friend and co-worker Gina.  She is great friends with the neurosurgeon that I will be seeing tomorrow.  She told me so many wonderful things that I needed to hear and how the Drs. office is all ready for me tomorrow.  What an over whelming relief I felt!  Seriously....all the anxiety went away and I have been fine all day.  Thank you Gina!  Thank you God!  What timing!

Everyone has been so wonderful!  Thank you!  I cherish the prayers, offers to help and support!  With this being my second go around everyone is so willing to jump in and help my family again and we are so grateful!

I have a neurosurgeon appointment!  It is Thursday at 12:00 noon.  I am planning on going back to work tomorrow and work the rest of the week, unless he wants to do something on Friday.  I will let you know how it all went afterwards.  THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR CONTINUOUS PRAYERS AND ENCOURAGEMENT!!  I can't begin to tell you how much it is appreciated! Your words mean so much and I just read them over and over.   God is pouring His blessings my way!  I have to admit that I went through a box of tissues last night and this morning (and I did ask God "why me?") but as the day has gone on I am feeling more upbeat and positive.  I will fight this and I know you will all help.
