Good morning!!  How is your week going?  It was so nice to have the day off yesterday.  I can't say it was a relaxing day off for me but it was a productive one.  I am just about ready to leave for the wedding tomorrow.  I have a few last minute things I need to do tonight and tomorrow morning and then we are off.  Wow......can't believe that the wedding is in 2 days!!!!

Here is another picture of my sweet grandbaby Tyler.  Can you tell I love him so much??  He is sitting on my lap here just hanging out and cooing at Nanie.  Of course he has a cute little football outfit on too.  Jen and I took him yesterday for his check up and he has already grown 3/4 of an inch and gained about 10 ounces.  He is a growing little weed.  Hard to believe that he is already two weeks old.

Could you all please pray for my entire family and my sister's fiancee Gregg's family for safe traveling mercies today?  We have a lot of people coming from out of town and everyone is starting to come in today.  It is going to be awesome to see everyone!  Also, that the events in the next two days goes real smooth and that we all stay healthy! 

I gotta make this short.  Too much to do this morning.  Thank you for your prayers!!!  Today is another gift and God is soooo Good!!!  Thank you God for unconditional love.

Do you like left over turkey sandwiches?  You bet I do!  What does everyone do with their left over turkey?  Any good recipes??

                      HAPPY VETERAN'S DAY!!!!

I would like to take the time to thank all of our veteran's for serving our country.  I want to thank all of our military that are serving right now.  Our family daily keeps all of our military, either here or over seas in our prayers for safety and protection.  Our hearts and sympathies go out to the families who lost a loved one in Fort Hood recently.  One thing that we all can do for our men and women serving in our military right now is to pray faithfully for them and their families.  Again, "THANK YOU!"  Our country enjoys our freedom because of your willingness to serve and protect us.

I have a big prayer request.  My sweet friend Brenda Grose's sister Teresa has been diagnosed with melanoma cancer.  She has already had some of it removed but has to have surgery now to remove some lymph nodes.  Please keep Teresa and her family lifted in your prayers for strength and that the results will be good.  Brenda.......please keep us all posted on here.  The prayer warriors here will be praying!

Becky G.......we will keep praying for Sara.  Thanks for the update.

Where are you going for Thanksgiving this year?  My brother Donald and his wife Noni are hosting it at their house this year.  We all cook though so it is not a burden on one person.

Good morning!!  We are getting into the spirit of Thanksgiving so I decided it would be fun to take a few pictures with Tyler and a little turkey I had.  Here is one of them.  Aren't they cute??  Nanie just can't get enough of him.  He is such a good baby.  He is sleeping 5 hour stetches at night for Jen and Ryan.

There is no school tomorrow because of Veteran's Day and I will be taking full advantage of that day off to get a ton of things that I need to get done before we leave for the wedding on Friday.  Everyone is very excited for my sister and Gregg.  I think she has just about everything ready and done.  Only 5 more days.  WooHoo!

Thank you all so much for the encouragement yesterday and all the prayers for my blood levels to get better.  I still haven't talked to my Dr. yet.  Hopefully today.  I will keep you updated as soon as I know anything.

Becky G......how did the appointment with Sara go?  We are all praying for her.  Angel Linda.....we are praying for you to get better too.

Does your family eat anything different for Thanksgiving other then the traditional dinner??  No.....we are pretty traditional in our family.

Good morning!!!  I want to start off by saying a big "Happy "70th" birthday to my dad today!!!  If you ask him how old he is he will tell you "19".  :)  He feels great and has the energy of a teenager.  Looking forward to seeing you and mom this week for the wedding!  This is Tyler telling you Happy Birthday too!

This is a picture of daughters and moms.... Diana, Ellen, Jenna, me, Caroline and Jenny at the baby shower that Victor and Caroline hosted for their son Stephen and his wife Vanessa.  Unfortunately Vanessa didn't make it to the shower.......the baby came 3 weeks early!  Yes....Joaquin Victor Jaime made his appearance into the world a little early but everyone is doing good.  Stephen was able to make it and it was a beautiful shower.  We had such a good time.  The Jaime's always know how to throw a great party.  Ellen, Caroline and I have been friends since our daughters were in kinder together.

Then Saturday night I was off to our elementary schools Wrangler round-up carnival.  What a huge turn out!  This is me, Lisa and Jessica.  We were so busy that night but had a ton of fun and the weather was just perfect.

I went to the hospital yesterday morning for my blood work.  My results are not that good.  My white cell count fell way out of range and I am not sure what the Dr. is going to say about that yet.  My red cell count, hemoglobin and platelets are still low too.  I was surprised and disappointed.  Surprised because I am feeling so good and have good energy.  I have to be extremely careful now around anyone being sick.  I am sure my Dr. will order some more white cell booster shots.  Please pray that my levels will go up very soon.  It is taking my body a long time to heal after 8 months of chemo.....which was to be expected. My sisters wedding is this weekend and I need prayers to stay healthy for that too.  I will know sometime today or tomorrow what the Dr. wants me to do.  I treasure those prayers!  Thank you.  I know that God is in control.

My Chargers won yesterday!!  What a sweet win it was too!!  Ohhhhhhh Yeeeeaaaahhhh!!!  Next week we host the Philadelphia Eagles.

Good morning!!  It is a beautiful sunny Saturday morning here in the Imperial Valley.  Love it!!  Perfect because everything I am doing today is outside.  Just hoping the weather stays nice for the Wrangler Round up carnival tonight at our elementary school.

Nothing much to report today.  Tyler and Jenna are doing great!  My sister is getting married in one more week.  Lots to do this week and our family is looking forward to it all!
