Good Friday morning!!  We had a wonderful Christmas Eve and Day!  I felt good for the whole thing.  Just a little more tired then usual which was to be expected.  But I hung in there well and didn't have to miss a moment.  Thanks to my family for waiting on me lots. Yes.....between my sister, sister-in-law, daughter and myself we took some great pictures! 

Jenna hosted Christmas Eve at her house.  There were like 24 of us and we had tons of food, ate like crazy, and divided into teams again for some CRAZY games.  We always laugh so hard!  We also play the gift exchange steal/game but do ornaments instead.  That can get pretty funny too.

Mike and I hosted Christmas morning at our house.  It's tradition and I didn't want to break from that.  We (okay...mostly Mike did)  made a HUGE breakfast and everyone came over to eat and then open presents.  That is fun at our house.  We get in a big circle and open one at a time to see what everyone gets.  And Santa was pretty good to everyone this year!  It also takes all morning to do which we love.  We hung out in the afternoon then back to Jenna and Ryans for some games and dessert.  All in all it went awesome!  Couldn't of asked for a better two days.  God gave me such strength that I didn't know I had to help me through both days.  Thanks for praying for me.  I was praying for you too.

Now tell me everyone.....how was your Christmas Eve and Day?  Traditions?  Food?  I really want to hear!  Stay safe when you are traveling today.

Because of you and your prayers, because God is so faithful in answering those prayers everything went so smooth yesterday.  I did not get sick at all and I slept pretty well.  So far so good this morning too.  I am feeling pretty darn good considering.  I am so looking forward to this day and all of the fun things we have planned.  Because of you and your prayers for me and God hearing those prayers, I will get to enjoy the Holidays with my family!  Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart!  I want to wish to you all a fun, blessed, laughing filled, memorable day.  Make sure to take pictures!  Especially tomorrow!  My families love and thanks to you all!

UPDATE:  Everything went great for Leslie!  They got her IV on the first stick and her veins stayed strong!  Praise God!  Thank you for the prayers.  She felt each and every one of them.  Yes, she had a smile on her face again while there.  She is home and doing good.

GOD IS GOOD!

Good morning!  Yep.....today is IV chemo day.  I am asking for your prayers to be mentally and physically strong to go today.  I really don't want to go, but I know I need to.  Please pray that my veins are strong again and that there are no complications with that.  I am also praying that the time passes by fast while I am there.  My appointment is at 2:00 and Mike will come on here later and give you all an update on how everything went.  God has been so faithful to me and has been taking such great care of me.  I know it will be alright.

Hard to believe that tomorrow is Christmas Eve!  I am so very excited.  I am ready.  We have lots of fun things planned for sure!  I am praying that I feel good and really get to enjoy each and every minute.  I am asking you to pray for my strength.  I will tell you all about our holiday adventures when they are done.  What does your family do for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day?  I'd love to hear!

GOD IS JOY AND HE IS GOOD!

Good morning!  AHHHHHHHH the POWER of prayer!  Miracles everyday!  Your prayers to ease the side effects are so working!  I felt great yesterday and so far so good this morning!  I watched my San Diego Chargers win yesterday (YEEESSSSSS!) and it will get down to their final game in San Diego this Sunday to see if they win the division.  Very exciting!  I was also able to bake my little brother's cookies too.  I pretty much relaxed all day and took it easy.   BUT......

Since all of our extended family are here right now on Mike's side my sweet mother-in-law and father-in-law decided to take the whole gang to bowling last night!  No,  I didn't bowl (okay I threw the ball twice) but I was the cheerleader and it was great to get out and hang with the family.  My nieces and nephews are so much fun to be around!  Everyone laughed and had a great time. 

I am just going to hang out and rest and relax today and finish up some little things I have been working on.  I still have such a HIGH energy level being on the steroids.  I have to keep busy doing something......just not physical.  Believe me.....I have a lot of projects (scrapbooking, going through my pictures, going through recipes, cleaning out drawers etc...) to keep me busy for a while!

I want to say CONGRATULATIONS to my friend Randi Stilwell who got engaged to Shawn Ryan!  They are so very happy!  God's blessings on you both and your future together!

And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a degree from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be taxed.  And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was govenor of Syria.  And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city.  And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was the house and lineage of David.  To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.  And so it was, that while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.  And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.  TO BE CONTINUED TOMORROW......
