MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE!!!!

Good morning!  Hopefully by now you have the shopping done and the gifts wrapped.  Today and tomorrow will be a fun and busy day for everyone.......but try to take a minute to stop....take a deep breath....relax.....and reflect on why we are celebrating Christmas.  Look around your home and enjoy all of the decorations you put up.  Read all of your Christmas cards.  Drink some coffee or hot chocolate in a Christmas mug.  Read the story of Jesus' birth.  Sneak a cookie or two that you baked for Santa.  Just take a minute for yourself.  Everything you did to prepare for this day was worth it.  Now enjoy!  My family and I want to wish you all a very "Merry Christmas!"  May you all be blessed with the love of family and friends.  May you all be blessed with peace.  God is the God of love and peace.

Today is another precious gift from God and HE is so Good!!

Good morning!! Everyone remember this clip from the Charlie Brown Christmas special??  So happy that they tell the story of the birth of Jesus.  Loved this cartoon since I was a little kid.  My kids loved it and I am sure my grandkids will love it too. 

 Counting today only 2 more days till Christmas!  I am enjoying all of these days up till Christmas.  Today Jenna is coming over and we are making cookies for Santa Claus.  Got to keep the guy jolly you know. Ho Ho Ho!!  :)  The cookies we make today (the cookie monster sugar cookies.....of course frosted) are my brother Donald's favorite.  He has been ready for me to make them for two weeks.  Well come by this afternoon Donald....I will have lots ready for you then.

Lola still hasn't been found.  I feel like she is taking care of someone else.  I still cry because I miss her so much.  I can only pray now that she is safe and happy.

On the other hand we are singing praises to God for my continued healing.  Our family has been blessed this year and so loved.  Thank you all so much for everything!

GOD IS THE GOD OF MIRACLES!!!  PRAISE HIS NAME!

Good morning!  Thank you everyone for your sweet comments, your phone calls and text messages!  Wow.....what a day yesterday!  The news couldn't of been better!  We are continually thanking and praising God!  I haven't stopped happy dancing yet either.  Tyler danced with me every time I held him yesterday.  He is just a snuggle bunny.  Here are a couple pics I took the other day.  He has a santa hat on that says "Kiss me Grandma."  Here he is trying to touch me.

Here he is puckering up for a kiss!  Ha!  I was just lucky to get a picture of him puckering. Is he too funny or what?

Tyler did great on the trip to San Diego and back.  Lunch at Monica and Gregg's house was so good!  One of the things we ate was fresh home baked bread......ooohhhh I could eat a ton of that with butter!  Monica also broke out with some champagne and we toasted to "good health." 

I am going to savor this moment for this week, but then it will be time for me to face the full body PET scan that I have coming up on December 29th.  I feel a real peace about that test too.  I won't know the results to that test until January 5th when I see my oncologist.  Please keep me in prayer for that. 

Enough about that for a while.....it is time to CELEBRATE the many miracles that God has given us.  To celebrate the birth of His son Jesus!

I have a prayer request for a friend.  She is going in for a minor procedure tomorrow in San Diego.  Pray that everything goes smooth for her and that she feels good for Christmas eve and day.  She has two school aged children to be all ready for.

Amy Bo.....I would love to see the album you made for your mom!!  I would love to have you help me make one for Tyler next year for sure!

Jenna and I are going to be running a few errands today.  Maybe we will see you out and about today too.  Have a fun day!  Today is another great gift from God and He is so Good!!  Thank you God for my WONDERFUL friends and family!!

PRAISE GOD!!!  MY BRAIN SCAN IS CLEAR!!!!  The Dr. said that everything looks great!!  I am doing the "Happy Dance" as well as my family!!  Everyone....take a moment to happy dance with me!!  Thank you Lord for continued healing and good health!  I cannot thank you all enough for faithfully keeping me in your prayers!  I won't be able to wipe this smile off my face for a long while!  I received a Christmas miracle!  Love you all!!

Good morning!  I am getting ready now to head up to my neurosurgeons office in La Jolla to get the results to my latest brain scan.  Thank you all so much for your prayers.  I have such peace about the whole thing.  Please continue to pray for me as I go today.  My appointment is at 11:15.  As soon as I get to the computer at my sister's house I will let you all know what my Dr. says.  Mike is taking me up and Jenna and Tyler are coming with us.  My sister Monica and her hubby Gregg are making us lunch today.  It will be fun getting to visit with them for the afternoon. 

Wow!!!!!  Did you see the Charger game yesterday??  It was nail biting awesome!!  Another win for us!  We are now the AFC West division winners. Now we are looking for a first round bye for the playoffs.  We play the Titans in Tennessee on Christmas day afternoon this week.  Go Chargers!!!  Ohhhhh....I love football!!!  :)

Church was awesome yesterday too!  They put on a wonderful Christmas program and Ryan, Jenna and Tyler were Joseph, Mary and Jesus again.  So cute!  I love singing Christmas carols in church too!  Left church feeling so uplifted!  Love my church family!

Counting today only 4 more days till Christmas.  I wish time would slow down.  I love enjoying everything about this time of year.  I wrapped all of the gifts on Saturday so I am ready.  Jenna and I want to do some more baking this week.

Thanks again everyone for all of your encouragement for me and my family.  We are really feeling those prayers!!  ((((HUGS)))) to you all!!

Good Saturday morning!!  We sure had a lot of fun at school yesterday.  It was pajama day and Christmas party day.  Here are me, Randi and Jessica in our pajamas.  I decided to wear pigtails for fun.  I am still excited that my hair is long enough now to do that.  Seeing all the kids in their p.j.'s was so darn cute.

Santa came from the North Pole  and visited everyone at school.  Had to get my picture with Santa.  Can you tell I love my job and actually get paid to have fun with the kids like this?

By the end of the day the staff was tired and we were so happy to be starting our 2 week vacation!  Thank you Carmen Canalez for all the fun last night.  Perfect way to end the day and to kick off our two week break.  The food was awesome!  We laughed so hard!

I have a lot to do this weekend to get ready for Christmas.  Looking forward to all of it!  I am looking forward to two weeks of family and friend fun, sleeping in, hot chocolate, old Christmas movies, going to see a new movie with Mike, hanging out with Jeff, snuggling in a blanket with Tyler, running around with Jen and Tyler,  Christmas light looking, enjoying Jenna's fire place, football and cooking and baking, singing Christmas carols in church, enjoying a great lunch in San Diego with Monica and Gregg, scrapbooking and taking pictures.....all the while keeping my focus on the reason for the season.......celebrating the birth of Jesus.

I want to wish you all a very relaxing and fun weekend!  I won't be blogging again until Monday.  Thank you for continuously keeping me and my family in your prayers for great results to my brain scan on Monday.  I do feel at peace about it. Thanks also for praying for Lola.  She is still not found yet. Today is another gift from God and He is so Good!!  Thank you God for rest, relaxation and fun!
