Good Sunday morning!!  I had a great day yesterday.  Was able to get a lot accomplished around here and I did a lot of scrapbooking and  reading.  I really took the time and just enjoyed myself and worked on and did things that I love.  Today a dear friend of mine from out of town is coming over for a visit.  She had her class reunion last night and is coming by to see me for a bit before heading home.  Then Jenna and I are going to hang out for the day.

God's timing is amazing!  Thank you for your prayers for me during this break.  I am starting to see why God gave me this longer break and I should have more to report to you about that later.  Will definitely know more tomorrow.  You are all continually in my thoughts and prayers too.

God is who He says He is........God can do what He says He can do.......I am who God says I am.......I can do all things through Christ..........God's word is alive and active in me!

I want to wish my brother -in- law Mark a very Happy Birthday today!  Hope you have a fun day!!

So what is everyone up to on this beautiful Sunday morning?  Enjoy your day!!

Today is another gift and God is Good!!!

Hello Leslie and Family, We are so happy to hear you are resting and enjoying some things you like to do! We were very happy to read about Jenna being pregnant and that you and Mike will become grandparents! We had a great week-end because we spent it with lots of family as our niece Elise baptized her baby boy, Luca, on Saturday in Temecula. It was so nice because we got to see Jennifer and Dustin and all the cousins got to spend Friday and Saturday nights together. Jenny will be moving back from Clovis in June because she will graduate from Fresno State in May, the morning after Steve graduates from San Diego State so, that will be tricky, but the whole family will attend both ceremonies! Yes, God sends us all many blessings and we are truly thankful! We pray for your continued strength! Please say hello to Jenna! Sending our love to you and your family, love the Jaime Family.

Hi Leslie - Glad to hear you had a good day. We had a great Sunday afternoon. We went to church and then went to the ball field with about 15 friends and had a great game of softball, then came to our house for swimming and a BBQ. It was a really fun family day with friends. The weather was great and we were happy the wind died down for most of the afternoon!! Hope to come visit you the first part of the week - take care until then.-Love, Patty

My dearest Leslie: I ran across a little 2 line poem and immediately thought of you. You may have read it before but I think God has brought it to me at this time. "If God brings you to it - He will bring you through it!" I praise Him for the comfort and peace He has given to you. We had a beautiful w/e so yesterday I was able to tidy up the patio and clean up the grill. Today, we celebrated Claudette's birthday ( It is on 5/1) We grilled out and had potato salad, baked beans, deviled eggs and mixed vegetables. Then I had asked Claudette what kind of cake she wanted and she told me she wanted the pretzel salad for desert. (you crush up pretzels like you would make a graham cracker crust. Then mix cool whip w/cream cheese and spread over the crust. Then you make some strawberry jello and put frozen strawberries in that and make another layer and then top w/more cool whip. Mighty rich! !) We spent most of the afternoon on the patio and watched little Faith as she learned how to "step down" a step. Then she watched Brittany blow bubbles for her and tried to catch them. What a blessing God has given to us! I am so interested in finding out what God has revealed to you - I can hardly stand it!!!! When I was at Church this morning our pastor read from Hebrews 11. As he started reading, you immediately came to mind as Heb. 11:1 says, "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." We do not see the whole picture, but God knows all things. God bless you - I love you dearly. Aunt Maryann

I had a great day going to the Mission Fed Art Walk and then attending the Padre game. They didn't win but it was still fun. Going to take the dogs on a walk and then go to the grocery store!

It was another beautiful, warm and sunny day here in Northwestern Pennsylvania. We didn't do a whole lot today but enjoy the nice weather. I did manage to give Pepper a haircut earlier today. He sure needed it. His fur was so thick after the long, hard, cold winter...surprising for an indoor dog. But it is a sign of the type of winter we had. He looks a lot nicer; not as wooly. I'm sure even he's happier - not to mention cooler. Yesterday we broke a record for warmth! What a bunch of craziness. Even figuring that we'll break the record on Monday for high temps too. Spent a lot of time just sitting on the porch swing, listening to the birds sing. This is a day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad today! Can't wait to hear all that is being revealed through this break from chemo. You've got me intrigued. I just knew that God had some reason in all this delay. Hope you have a great rest of the day. All my love, hugs, thoughts and prayers...always! "Angel" Linda
