7:00 - Arrived at hospital

10:15 - Surgery scheduled but didn't happen yet, previous surgery ran long.

12:30 - Leslie finally in to surgery, scheduled for 2 hours

5:30 - Leslie is out of surgery, out of recovery and up in her room.  She's doing well and smiling :)  Haven't had a chance to talk to the surgeon but he told Leslie that things went well.

Dear Mike & Leslie: I check your blog daily and my heart is so sad to hear of your setback. I want to share something with you.....Your blogs and the comments from your friends has brought me closer to God. It has taught me that the small matters that I make a big deal out of, pale in comparison to the struggles of others. It has taught me the importance of family. It has also taught me to pray. I think of Leslie often and will continue to keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. I have sent cards to several of my friends, just to let them know that I am thinking about them becuase I know that you've said how much that means to someone. I thank God for bringing both you and Mike into my life. You have both taught me things without even knowing it. Stay strong. Your friend, Tisha

Mike, In your next post please address how long you all will be in hospital. Also, this seems like great time to upgrade to iPhone or some such device so you have internet contact at all times. Your daughter is impressing everyone at ECRMC - as you knew she would. That's the news from here. ttyl. g

Such good news! I was driving home from work at 5:00 and in front of me was a car with the license plate "Angel", I knew then that everything was going to be alright! Hang in there and tell Leslie we are thinking of her and know she'll be home ordering you around in no time (ha ha). Love you all (and thank you Monica, she's so lucky to have such a wonderful sister)

I've been up since 4am praying. I was driving into town for a doctors appt. today when I caught myself praying for Leslie, the family and the surgical team. I was not praying quietly to myself, but out loud. It's amazing how many people look at you like your crazy cuz you look like your talking to yourself in the car, when actually I was having wonderful prayer with Jesus:) Leslie you are so in good hands. Mike, thanks for this wonderful page. Love all you guys, Ginna (Aunt Ginna)
