I wondered why all your cars were at the house when I drove by around 8:30 this morning. Now it makes more sense. You must have been home for a quick nap after the exciting events of the early morning. Congratulations!! He is beautiful!

What an exciting day you'll have tomorrow. I'll be praying for all to go well with the c-section. When I called you...I just wanted to let you know that I mailed a package to you today...the post office is saying it should arrive by (possibly) Thursday, definitely Friday. It's got some goodies in it for Tyler, of course...and even a little something for the new grandma!!! Okay, well please get some sleep and I can't wait to hear from you tomorrow. Give our love to Jenna & Ryan...and when Tyler arrives a special hug and 'angel' kiss!!! Love you all very much! "Angel" Linda

Wow!! Tomorrow's the BIG day! I'll be busy all day preparing for my kids class (I'm serving a Passover meal for our Bible classes - that's where we are in Exodus right now), but I will remember to check the blog in between food prep, and won't forget to pray. Sooo excited for everyone! I'm praying for Sara, also. Hope her 2 weeks in bed goes by fast and the problem resolves itself. Love to everyone!

WOW! I am so excited! Will be praying for you all, as usual, and will be checking the blog often tomorrow. Betty had all three boys c-section(those Trimm boys are born with adult-sized heads). The first was unplanned, but the other two were looked forward to. I second the suggestion for taking all the help you can get, but getting up and moving soon. I was the help, along with others. Do try to get some rest tonight so that you are full of energy tomorrow! Love to all---

My doc didn't tell me to do the liquid diet thing. I think Jenna and I share the same doc. What I had was a "last supper". It was great. My pregnancy was beautiful and my delivery was even better. Jenna is in the best hands! What an exciting time for all of you! GET UP AND WALK THE SAME DAY AS THE C-SECTION! DRINK LOTS OF WATER AND CRANBERRY JUICE SO YOU CAN GO TO THE BATHROOM ON YOUR OWN! TAKE THE PAIN MEDS IF YOU NEED THEM! TAKE THEM!!!!!!!!!! Jenna, I would take Amy Bo.'s advice about the dresses. I bought one for every day. Something loose and comfy. I bought five fresh produce (brand) dresses EXTREMELY COMFY!!! Ernie took three weeks off of work and then my mom helped! Life was grand! Definitley take all of the help you can get! Take care and we are all praying! Everything will be fine! You are having a baby!!! What a blessing! Your life will change forever! Life is so great and sooooooo very precious!!!

Wow! Congratulations! We're excited for you and your family. C-Section advice: go on a liquid diet this afternoon and of course, nothing to eat or drink after midnight tonight...your Doc. will tell yout that. The liquid diet the afternoon before helps avoid gas problems after you get stitched up! Also, you're going to need dresses for recovery, lots of them. Get up and walk as soon as possible and don't be afraid to let Dad do his part! The more you LET him do in the beginning, the more he'll do on his own from now on. Don't tell him what he's doing wrong, he'll figure it all out on his own, let him be the other half and encourage him...he'll need it! Remember, the baby won't break! Good luck!

Oh, Les! I can't imagine how excited you are today! And Jenna must be even more excited and a little nervous. I remember the night before I had Nathan by scheduled c-section. So nervous, but so excited to see what and who the little creation would look like. Thank you all for praying for my sister. The doctor seemed more worried about Sara than the baby, but we're worried about both of them. Terrie, you give me a call when your grand babies get to Imperial and I'll come by to ooh and awe over them. I'm a little partial to white-headed babies!! Post-c-section advice? Take as much help as you are offered. I've had two and it's not as bad as you think it will be. A few days of pain is well worth the blessing Jenna's about to receive. Good luck!!

Hi Leslie! I'm sooooo excited at today's post. Oh My Gosh...Tyler will be here tomorrow! That's wonderful!!! I'm sooooo happy for all of you. I know Jenna really didn't want to have a c-section, but you know it's really not all that bad. I've had two of them. The first time around I was young and it didn't bother me at all. I was a bit weak and tired the first day but that was about it. With Sami, I was up and walking within a few hours of having her! In fact, with Sami's dad passing away just three days later, I had to take on a bigger role of 'doing things' than I did the first time around. They tell you no stairs for a couple weeks, but when you live on the 2nd floor of an apartment complex and you have funeral arrangements to make, you just have to do it. I just had to take it slow and easy and make sure not to fall or strain myself. Otherwise I was up doing all the things I normally do...including up and down the stairs, to and from appointments, laundry, dishes, you name it...there was no rest for me. It did hurt, I don't mean to make it sound like it didn't, but it wasn't nearly as bad for me as some people had made it out to be. Of course, a lot depends on your pain tolerance level too. Guess I'm pretty strong. Yes, Jenna will have a good 6-8 weeks of healing time for the incision, but she really shouldn't have any other problems. It'll be a nice bonding time for her and Tyler. If you all have any other c-section questions, don't hesitate to call/ask. Not much going on here today...but I'm SOOOO thankful I got my butt in gear and got that little "Tyler project" finished. It'll be in the mail today!!! I told you he'd arrive before it came in the mail! YIKES! Tonight is mom's pinnochle club, so I'll take a few minutes to give you call later tonight. Things will be busy for you, so I better make sure to do that tonight ;) Well, until love to all! "Angel" Linda
