Good morning!!  It is Friday!  Woot!  I felt good all day yesterday.....looks like my body is doing just fine with the melanoma vaccine.  Now if we could all just pray that this vaccine works for me.....and not just only me but for others that are doing it right now and for all the future people that will be affected by melanoma.

Today at school we are celebrating Dr. Seuss' birthday.  Everyone is suppose to wear a tie to school and we are reading Dr. Seuss books to the kids in the afternoon.  I love these books.  I got the whole hardback cover Dr. Seuss collection when my kids were little and I kept them all this time for future grandkids.  So Tyler will have a lot of books to read when he comes to Poppi and Nanie's house.  I am already instilling the love of reading to Tyler.  Take a look at this pic I took yesterday.  He loves his little books!  Which Dr. Seuss book is your favorite?

Tyler 29

I would like to wish my friend Amy Brinnon a very "Happy Birthday" today!  Have a fun day today Amy!!  March is a great birth month isn't it?  :)

A couple of things that made me smile yesterday.....coffee in the morning with my friends before school starts, lunch time with my friends and watching Jenna feed Tyler.  What made you smile today?

Have a fantastic day everyone!!  Today is another gift from God and He is so Good!!  Thank you God for giving hearts.

Does anyone like to make breakfast for dinner???

Loved the picture, Leslie. And to Amy Bo, thanks, thanks, for sharing your story. It made me smile and say some prayers again! Thanks! On the Dr. Seuss subject, I am going to have to go for "If I Ran the Zoo" (and, yes, sometimes I feel like I do!) Have a wonderful weekend and thanks for reminding us to pray for the success of the vaccines for other melanoma patients. Hadn't really thought of that.

Hi Leslie - Love the picture of Tyler - I always enjoyed reading to my kids, even when I had to read the same book over and over again until I could read the book in my sleep!!I smiled several times today but one that brings a smile to my face even now is when I checked my voice mail and heard 4-5 messages from Ella telling me to book a massage and photo shoot to celebrate the grand opening of her businesses (Paradise Massage and Clear Shots). She has been working on her businesses for the past month and today was the big day. I always loved Dr. Suess "Oh the Places You'll Go" and "Green Eggs and Ham". Have a great evening - Love, Patty

Well, isn't Tyler a little Seuss colegiate! And have you seen those ads on TV for the "Your Baby Can Read" system? Tyler looks like he could just take off reading right now....Do I like MAKING breakfast for dinner? No, but occasionally, if we go to a pancake house, I enjoy EATING breakfast for dinner. Still praying in AL. Love, Ev

Howdy and Happy Friday! Just returned from San Pasqual; a GREAT CIRCLE training with 26 preschool and kindergarten teachers-YEEHAW! I AM SMILING! Randi, you are soooo funny; can I post my peronal pictures on Leslie's webpage???? Uh oh! Yes, we have many pictures of the twins being read to and with books in their hands. Actually, Emily has a picture of me in the hospital reading "The Birth of Jesus" to the twins on their first day of life! There is also a sweet picture of Auntie Alexa reading to the girls at The George Bush Presidential Library in College Station Texas. Annnnnnnd when they were here Christmas they both sat through the entire reading of my favorite Dr. Suess book, "Green Eggs and Ham". Some kindergartners have a tough time sitting for that book. Soooo Angel Linda we share a love of a book. Jenna, I would like to ask for yours and Ryans permission to possibly use this picture in some of my presentations. Sooo Leslie if it is O.K. you can send the picture to me electronically. FYI-I do not use any names! Amy Bo. YES, Aaron B. is special; such a huge heart-I pray that he will always have that huge heart. Y'all have a GREAT week-end; I am going to take a bubble bath and go to bed. JEEEZ, I am getting old. I love you Leslie and I BELIEVE! Smiling at you, Terrie O.

This is by FAR my favorite photo!!! I'm suprised that Mrs. O hasn't posted yet with a great photo like that!!! What makes me smile? The fact that my son is gonna be 15 (yikes) and still tells me every morning when I drop him off that he loves me. :) I just love those 3-4 minutes on the way to school where it is just the two of us. Amy Bonillas, thanks for sharing that story. You should be proud. :) Breakfast for dinner is one of my favorite things... pancakes, hash browns, eggs, bacon, yaaaaaaa. :)

Good Morning!!! Well, I'm a little late on the whole smile thing...but I wanted to share something that made me smile and cry all at the same time yesterday. Our boys got their jerseys for baseball yesterday and because Richie and I are so....ummmm....anal....Aaron ALWAYS gets number 10 (that was both of our numbers in EVERYTHING growing up). Well, Aaron comes over to me yesterday, so proud of his jersey, with a HUGE...and I MEAN HUGE...smile on his face. He turns it around, and yells, "SHAZAM!"...it was number 9. Hmmm...I was a little stumped and I know he could read it on my face. I said, "Number 9? What's up with that? Are you rebelling or what?" He says, "NO MOM, I'm wearing Cody's number this year." He makes me so proud. ...just had to share...Happy Friday! HOPE...in your heart...and in mine...

Thanks for the birthday wishes! Yes, March is a great birth month.....I have a pretty good birth week too! (Fair Time).........I was born during the fair and every year growing up I celebrated my birthday at the fair. Guess what I am doing tonight? Going to the fair (to the small animal auction)! Until I read your blog I forgot that it was my birthday! Funny how we come to work and forget about other things!
