I have a new song in my heart Lord.....hymn of praise to you.......all I want to do when I wake up.....is spend my day with you....

Good Tuesday morning!!  That is a few words from one of the songs we sang at VBS last week and it is stuck in my head.  Love that song.  How is everyone today?  I went in and had the MRI done on my foot yesterday.  Will know the results tomorrow late afternoon when I go back to my doctor.  Thank you all for praying.

It is time again to send a card out to someone who could really use some encouragement, a get well, thinking of you or just to say a simple "hello!"  So if you are out and about this week please pick up a card or two or three and send it out to someone.  I know we all personally know of someone who it would really mean a lot to.

I don't have a picture for today.  Mike said that my blog is full and he is going to have to go in and save and store some of the past blog postings for me to free up some space.  Should be able to have a new picture up tomorrow.

Prayer requests:  cancer....Lori, Lorri, Teresa, Father Ruben, John W., Ken, Kristen, Patrick, Mike J., Sue, Anna, Martha, Cyndi, Joanne, Betsy, Chris H., Kate, Allen, Kenny, Samuel, Becky, Jim, Wayne, Danny, Claudia's dad and Carolyn.  Whew....I know that is a lot of names but they all could really use our prayers.  They all need healing, strength and encouragement.  They thank all of you prayer warriors out there.  I am so grateful too.

Romans 8 verses 26 & 27:  And in the same way--by our faith--the Holy Spirit helps us with our daily problems and in our praying.  For we don't even know what we should pray for, nor how to pray as we should; but the Holy Spirit prays for us with such feeling that it cannot be expressed in words.  And the Father who knows all hearts knows, of course, what the spirit is saying as he pleads for us in harmony with God's own will.

Have a terrific day everyone!!  Today is another gift from God and He is so Good!!

Question.........what are your plans for the fourth of July?  (good question Aunt MaryAnn) Church for us in the morning and then in the late afternoon we will have a BBQ party at Ryan and Jenna's house and then watch the fireworks show.

Praying for good news from the MRI and that your foot heals quickly!  We walk down to Euclid Ave. (1 1/2 blocks) in Ontario every 4th and set up our lawn chairs to watch the parade, but since Ontario never parades on Sunday it will be Saturday this year. Then we'll have the All States picnic in the median following the parade - there will be a big bandstand and it will be fun. Sunday evening the Temple City Church of Christ will have a short devo followed by a barbecue, watermelon, ice cream and fireworks. We've been promised entertainment by our minister who is a music teacher and plays several instruments and he will be joined by his 3 sons. Fun, fun, fun! Can hardly wait! PS to Samantha: - wear ear plugs! Fireworks are too awesome to miss!  ((♥♥♥♥♥♥♥))

Good Tuesday Morning...I have just a short time to write this morning, as Samantha has me hustling! Today her favorite movie of all time is released on DVD and she wants to go to WalMart to buy her copy...it's the Lightning Theif! She's been saving her money for a loooong time for this, so I can't disappoint her. While we're out, I've got a few groceries to pick up and some more pictures to make prints of, then I'm sure Samantha will spend the afternoon watching her movie :) It's beautiful her today....finally cooled off and little to no humidity....feels like paradise :) No plans for the 4th of July here. We don't usually even go to see fireworks...they're too loud for Samantha to enjoy - she has very sensitive hearing after having tubes when she was younger. Well have a great day, can't wait for the MRI report tomorrow sometime (I'm praying it's all good news)....gotta run! Love You! "Angel" Linda
