Good Wednesday morning!  Here is a picture of Tyler but he is not smiling.  In fact he is a little mad at Jenna and I here.  He wanted that cupcake sitting next to him.  Of course we couldn't give it to him.  We tried every distraction we could think of but he was head strong that he wanted nothing but the cupcake.  We finally put a toy in his hand so we could at least get one picture where he wasn't reaching for it.  Ha! ha!  I told Jenna that from now till his one year birthday he will be wanting that cupcake.  Oh well......it will be a fun story to tell him when he is older and looks at this picture.  It will also be fun to see him at his one year birthday party.  He will have a big cake to dig into then!

I go for my MRI results late this afternoon.  Thank you again for keeping me in your prayers.  I feel at peace about the whole thing.

Just a friendly reminder to buy a card this week and send it to someone who needs to be thought of and feel loved.  I have already heard from some of you that you are doing it.  Thanks!

Prayer requests:  I actually received a couple of prayer requests yesterday for two women who could really use our prayers right now for their pregnancies.  Please pray that they have healthy pregnancies and safe deliveries.  God bless you both and your families.  Also continued prayer for my friend Stacey who is still in the hospital.   Remember that if you have a prayer request please e-mail me at leslie@mgilbert.net  If you want me to put it on the blog anonymously I will.  The prayer warriors here are awesome!

Romans 15 verse 13:  So I pray for you that God who gives you hope will keep you happy and full of peace as you believe in him.  I pray that God will help you overflow with hope in him through the Holy Spirit's power within you.

Have a wonderful day everyone!!  Today is another gift from God and he is so Good!

What is on the menu for your July 4th celebration?  We are having BBQ'ed hot dogs, potato salad, beans, watermelon, chips & dip etc....and of course dessert!

Awww..even pouting, Tyler's still adorable! He'll get quite a laugh out of the story and photo when he's older, that's for sure. Oh my goodness what a wild time we've been having. The local Warren PA newspaper wants to interview Samantha tomorrow morning about her Jeopardy experience. There's also going to be a long story in our town's newsletter, along with photos. We've also made the web! The homeschooling forum we've been associated with for years, as is running story with photos! Talk about your head spinning! Samantha's basking in her little bit of celebrity. Thankfully she's such a down-to-earth girl, it's not going to her head. She's actually shocked and humbled that so many are interested. Gotta love that kid :) So tomorrow she'll get a taste of what a newspaper interview is like. I just hope the young reporter is good. I worked with so many good reporters when I worked for the newspaper in Jamestown NY back years ago, but like everything else, things change. So we'll see. I'll be sure to let you know...and when the story appears, I'll send the link so you can read it. It's really cool here now. We've had two days in a row that the humidity's been very low (40% or less) and the high temps only been 60...feels like fall! I'm not complaining...I'll take that kind of weather every day! I love it! I can always bundle up enough to stay warm, but can't get enough off to stay cool...and that's kind of scary anyway :) In fact, last night, it got so cool we had a threat of frost! Can you believe that??? Almost July and there's a threat of frost! Crazy, crazy weather. Got some disappointing news yesterday (but kind of seen it coming)...my son's no longer truck driving! ARG! I don't know what's up with him. All he wanted was to be a trucker...went to driving school...spent a ton of money for it...got his license, finally got a job and quit after the first week! All I heard from him was he was sooo thankful to be out of this area, on the road where he didn't have to deal with anyone..yada yada yada...nothing good to say about anyone or anything! I didn't expect it to last, when after the first 3 days, he was complaining. It's frustrating. I just don't understand him. I don't understand so many of the young people today...feeling like the world owes them something. Sorry, didn't mean to vent so much here. I guess, I should get going. I have a ton of things to get done today. Can't wait to hear the news on your MRI...I've been praying and will continue to do so. Love You So Much...Hugs to all. "Angel" Linda
