Good Wednesday morning!  Don't cry because it is because it happened. ---Dr. Seuss.   I saw this quote yesterday and wanted to share. Gotta love Dr. Seuss books!  Do you have a favorite Dr. Seuss book?  How is everyone's week going so far?

I have two more pics to share of Tyler's trip to the mall.  The first one is of him in a taxi stroller.  He loved driving it and honking the horn.  Yeah.....we could of put him in his own stroller, but why do that when they have this cool one for him to drive?  haha!

 Tyler Mall 05
This one is of Tyler when we got him home from his mall adventure.  That is how Nani and Poppi felt too!  haha!

Tyler Mall 06
Have a safe and fun trip Terrie Olstowski!  Enjoy your time with ALL of your girls!  I want to see pictures!  Christie happy that you sold your house!  Your new house is gorgeous.  How is your scrap room coming along?

Prayer requests:  For Angel Linda's friend Sharon who is having a mastectomy this afternoon.  Also for a couple who has asked for prayer for their marriage.  They have asked for prayers to get through some stress and trust issues.  Also for Angel Linda's sister Laura to heal properly and have a successful recovery.  And a special anonymous prayer request that a bad situation turns out to be okay.

We thank you God for listening to our prayers and we praise you for answering them.

Nahum 1 verse 7:  The Lord is good.  When trouble comes, he is the place to go!  And he knows everyone who trusts in him!

Have a wonderful day everyone!  Today is another gift from God and He is so Good!!

Question.....Anyone made any type of pumpkin dessert yet?  Tyler had his first bites of pumpkin pie on Saturday and loved it!  I have also made some pumpkin bread.  Anyone have a good recipe for pumpkin cookies?

The Lorax was always my favorite Dr. Seuss book. Horton Hears A Who is neat, too, but I am pretty partial to The Lorax. Did you know that many of Dr. Seuss's books were loosely based on real people from San Diego?

WOO HOO!! I'm doing the SUPER HAPPY DANCE here! The 'item' that everyone's been praying for, for me is DONE, OVER, CLOSED, FINISHED, BEHIND ME! I am sooooooo happy. It's only taken 12 yrs! Praise God, it's over! Thanks for all the rejoice with me! (Updates on our two surgery gals: my sister is continuing to rest somewhat comfortably & Sharon's mastectomy went well - the cancer had NOT gotten into ANY of the surrounding lymph nodes & she's likely to come home tomorrow afternoon! Thanks for all the prayers for both of them!) Won't be posting until later tomorrow - gotta take Sami to the doctor in the morning (she's got a wicked sore/red throat, ear bugging her a bit too); my ear's still bugging me too & tonight my throat is sore! We so don't need to get sick right now! Also have my care ministry training tomorrow I'll catch up with you sometime tomorrow. Love You! "Angel" Linda

Oh the sleeping picture of Tyler is adorable. Have you tried the pumpkin spice lattes at Starbucks? They are so good! I made some pumpkin bread with drizzled icing over it. So moist and good. Why do we wait until this time of year to eat pumpkin goodies? I agree that we should have them year round.

I agree with "Angel" Linda. Why do we always save pumpkin stuff for Thanksgiving? I love pumpkin. Pumpkin bread, pumpkin cheesecake, pumpkin pancakes, pumpkin dip with green apples or vanilla wafers, pumpkin pie, pumpkin ice cream, pumpkin pumpkin pumpkin. :) And, yes, Mrs. O... I will make a veeeeeeeery gooooooooooood witch. ;) Praying for all. I have a prayer request for today.... My husband, brother, and dad are all driving from Eureka tonight pulling trailers to move my brother to San Diego. Would ya'll just keep them in your prayers for a safe journey? Les, I can't believe little Ty is gonna be a year old tomorrow!! Where has the time gone? Love ya Les!

Hi My Dear Friend! It's a beautiful day today - we weathered the storms last night well & have a gorgeous day today...nice & warm & sunshiny! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Dr. Suess books! My favorite has to be Green Eggs & Ham! I can recite practically the whole book by heart! Gotta love that Ol' Sam-I-Am ;) HaHaHa...gotta love those pics! Especially the 'zonked' Tyler one! I remember doing the same thing when Sami was little - renting the cool strollers at the mall - helped keep her entertained! I loved the ones like that in the grocery stores did she! Thanks so much for posting those prayer requests for my friend Sharon & for my sister. Haven't heard any updates on Sharon's mastectomy yet, but as soon as I know anything, I'll post it. My sister is continuing to rest & heal, so far all seems well there. We've made some pumpkin bread & apple cinnamon bread, but no other pumpkin goodies yet. I did break down & run to the grocery store for some pumpkin doughnuts! YUM! I've never made pumpkin cookies, but they sound good. I LOVE pumpkin pie! Seems kind of strange why I save it to have only at Thanksgiving...maybe that's why it's always so special! One of my faves for sure! With my b/day so close to Thanksgiving, I usually never had cake but instead opt to have Pumpkin Pie instead! It feels so good to have nothing else to do today! We got our homeschool lessons done, care ministry homework is all done & there's no place I need to be tonight! YIPPEE! Guess I can finally relax a little! Hope you're having a wonderful day. Chat again soon. My love to all. "Angel" Linda
