God has specific plans for you, therefore he has put you where you are for a reason and has given you all the abilities to make a difference.  Do the best that you can and leave the trail for others to follow.

Good Thursday morning!!  I had a great day yesterday.  Just a lot of little good things that happened during the day that added it up to making it a great day.  A lot of things that I am so grateful for and am very appreciative of.  I saw a lot of great and exciting things that happened to other people.  It brightens your day to see others so blessed with awesome things happening in their lives.   I am strengthened and encouraged.  I as well as many others are praying for you who need prayers.  I as well as others are seeing answers to these prayers.  Please know that there are so many people who care and have HOPE for you.  God cares and loves us all so much.  Unconditional love.  We all have some bad days and hard tough days. God provides the strength to get through.  Lean on Him fully.  He can handle it.

I am learning more and more recently about e-mails that I have sent off and the people I had sent them to did not receive them.  It is frustrating but I hope I have a solution now. Mike looked and can't figure out what is happening either.   His e-mails are going out fine.   So if I haven't responded back to you I am sorry.  I am usually good about getting back to you.  Technology is great when it is working.  But it is all good and I am trying to catch up now.

I watched American Idol again last night.  It is now getting down to picking the top 24 contestants.  We will know who they all are tonight.  It is definitely going to be a great group singing this year.  So many good ones to choose from.  Anyone have a favorite yet?

Here are some more pictures of Tyler playing in the back yard.

Prayer requests: For a friend who is under a lot of stress right now and could use our prayers that God will give her strength to make it through a tough time.   For the safety and protection of all our military men and women who are serving our country.  Thank you for everything that you do.  Pray for their families as well.

Lamentations 3 verses 21 - 25:  Yet there is one ray of hope: his compassion never ends.  It is only the Lord's mercies that have kept us from complete destruction.  Great is his faithfulness; his lovingkindness begins afresh each day.  My soul claims the Lord as my inheritance; therefore I will hope in him.  The Lord is wonderfully good to those who wait for him, to those who seek for him.

Read the bible in a year:  Today......Numbers 31 -32.  Friday......Numbers 33 - 34.

Have a super day everyone!  Today is another gift from God and He is so Good!!

Question of the day........What type of cheese do you like to eat?  I am a cheese girl.  I love all kinds of cheese and love both pepper jack and cheddar in my sandwiches.

Hi Leslie, I agree with Linda that the opening quote is great. Thank you for that. Tyler is such a cutie pie! To answer your question today, I will eat cheese on just about anything. One of my favorite go to easy meals is a grilled cheese sandwich.

Hello Leslie. Decided to stop by before I head off to church for Stephen Ministry training. It's been kind of a gloomy, gray day here, but thankfully no snow...yet. We're supposed to have a winter storm watch in effect for later tonight & tomorrow with up to a foot of new snow expected! I hope it stays far to the north OR far to the south of us...time will tell. I LOVE LOVE LOVE that opening quote! It is so true - thanks for posting that :) Ty-Man looks like he's having a blast outside playing with that slide. Great pictures. In the mail today, we got our quarterly Erie Zoo newsletter! The zoo is reopening for the season on Sunday! WOO HOO! That's FREE day thanks to NFL player Bob Sanders, who's orginally from Erie & provides this FREE event opening day as a way of remembering where he came from. Not sure if we'll make it because of all that goes on at church - but at least it's a light at the end of the winter tunnel when the zoo reopens! There was a cool article in the newsletter too - they are looking for interesting stories, memories & photos because 2012 will be the 50th Anniversary of the zoo and to comemorate it, they're compiling a book written by the patrons! I think that is so cool. Entries have to be submitted by Aug. 31st...so you know Sami & I will be going through all the old photos, as well as our memories & submitting articles to be included in the book! What a perfect bible verse for today too! QOTD - I like so many different kinds of cheese, it would've been easier to answer what kind DON'T I like - which is Limburger (that's super stinky cheese!), otherwise I pretty much like 'em all! Hope you're having a great day today. Love & Hugs all around! "Angel" Linda (P.S. - Samuel had to be taken back to Pittsburgh at 3:30 a.m. this morning by ambulance - he was running a temp of 104 & his immune system is ZERO! Whatever he's fighting is serious with no immunity. Please be praying for him. Just got an update from his mom, Jodie, and they're still in the ER in Pittsburgh, his temp has come down and is staying down so far. They've been in the ER for 20 hrs! Still waiting for a room. Thanks prayer warriors for praying. Will keep you updated as I hear)
