WooooooHoooooo!!!!  God is Good!!!  We are 'happy dancing' over the good news from yesterday!!  Brain scan looks good!!

Good Tuesday morning!!  Guess what today is????  Yes!!!!  It is the opening ceremonies of Birth Month!!!!  hahaha!  I am so excited that March is here!  For anyone new to reading my blog, I don't just celebrate March 26th, my birthday, I like to celebrate all month long!  I love birthday's and think that everyone should celebrate their's big every year.  I am going to be 49 years old this year!  Where did the time go?  I am just so thankful to be here and celebrate my last year of being in my forty's.  Turning 50 next year doesn't bother me one bit.  I will just be thrilled to celebrate it!  My sweet friend Angel Linda even sent me an opening ceremonies gift.  You know what it was?  31 birthday cards!!  Wow!!  One for each day this month!  Awwwww....I love it Linda!  Something to open everyday this month.  My father-in-law & mother-in-law also brought me by an opening ceremonies gift.  It was a birthstone tree covered in my birthstones.  So pretty!  Thank you....that was so sweet!  Great way to start off my birth month celebrations!

The news from Dr. Ott yesterday was awesome!  Mike and I went to lunch to celebrate and then Mike took me to a cupcake store and I ate a big delicious cupcake.  The next thing on my medical agenda is a full body PET scan on March 19th.  Please pray that the 2 spots that Dr. McClay is watching on my lungs are gone.  I appreciate it so very much!

Here is a picture that Mike and I took yesterday in the mountains on our way to San Diego.  It was a beautiful drive with all the snow.

Prayer requests:  I received a prayer request for someone who broke their foot and is in a lot of pain.  Pray for the pain to subside and for a quick recovery.  Also for someone else who needs surgery and is waiting for a date to be scheduled.  They are hoping to get in and have it done by next week.

1 John 4 verse 16: We know how much God loves us because we have felt his love and because we believe him when he tells us that he loves us dearly.  God is love, and anyone who lives in love is living with God and God is living in him.

Read the bible in a year:  Today.....Deuteronomy  5 - 7.  Wednesday......Deuteronomy 8 - 10.

Have a terrific day everyone!  Today is another gift from God and He is so Good!  Thank you God for the many miracles in our lives!!  Thank you for joy!!

Question of the day......How much did you weigh when you were born?  I was 6 lbs and 3 oz.

I was so happy to see your news yesterday! That is wonderful, wonderful news! And wow, I can't believe it is your birthday month already. The time is flying by. I have been so busy lately with the boys playing basketball. Now that is ending this week and we go right into baseball. I kind of miss the fall where we didn't get here in time to sign up for anything. No running around. lol! I do love basketball though. It is my favorite sport that they play. I don't like baseball so much, and I'm hoping they give that one up here in the next year or so. And the answer for your question of the day is 6lbs 1oz. Have a great week!

HAPPY KICK-OFF TO BIRTH-MONTH!!! I just KNEW that little gift would be special! I was so excited when the idea came to me! I just wanted to do something special for SOMEONE SPECIAL! Oh, we share so many FUN memories of things sent through the mail, huh? Enjoy! I'm still "Happy Dancing" over the great news from yesterday! Thank you God for answering our prayers! I've already started praying about the 19th. We had a fun time last night with the teen youth group's pizza party - lots of faces we don't normally see; it was the pizza that brought them out. I have my Messianic class tonight. It's the last 'official' night of class; next week is test night (if the tests reach us, that is!) We're still lacking a couple of sections of notes and all the tests, so it'll be interesting to see what happens comes next Tuesday. It's been an entire semester of being flexible, making adjustments, and patience! It's just hard to believe we're almost finished with the classes - with or without the tests! We're experiencing a lot of small stream flooding here. The warm-up has come off pretty fast, which isn't good with the big amounts of snow we've had, that's what's causing all the flooding and the ice jams in the rivers. In fact, the main road from our house to the church is closed off due to flooding! The other route to the church takes about 10 minutes longer - that's also the main route between us and the next big town (where we do a majority of our business) and that road was in threat of flooding over in a couple places when we came home last night. Today the sun's shining bright again, it's not supposed to be as warm today, but still any more thawing and melting will spell danger to already flooded areas and those close to flooding. Will be interesting to see what happens. Mom's moving around better today after her fall down the porch steps (she's all sorts of different colors!), she's not quite as sore but still taking it easy. QOTD - I believe I was 7 lbs. 5 oz. (or very close to that) was Samantha when she was born; my son on the other hand was almost 9 lbs. Both my kids were C-section births. My son's to save his life; Samantha's was planned, but we had to change the date because she was determined to come earlier (which in the long run turned out to be a good thing; at least her dad got to see her, know her and enjoy her for 3 days). Leslie, you have a great day! I love you tons, girlfriend! Enjoy the Opening Ceremonies - can't wait to hear what you have planned. (((HUGS))) "Angel" Linda

It's birthday month again already?!?! I could have sworn it was just a few months ago. I was so happy to read your happy blog this morning. Yes, God is good! QOTD - I don't know my exact birth weight. I think somewhere around 7 pounds. My youngest sister was 10 pounds, 9 1/2 ounces. My mom was 3 weeks late and had her natural with as many drugs as she could get! My oldest, Chris, weighed 9 pounds, 12 ounces and Nathan was 9 pounds 2 ounces and was 2 weeks early for a planned c-section. Yeah, I'm not quite the woman my mom was in the birth department!
