Leslie is not any better today, perhaps even a little worse.  Still having pain, and now nausea too.  We got a prescription for a new pain med but am afraid to use it because it is likely to add to the nausea.  She is taking medication for the nausea but it does not seem to be working too well.  Please continue your prayers that Leslie is feeling better soon.   If she's not doing better soon, I may need to take her back to the ER so they can control the pain and nausea.

UPDATE 7:30 pm - Leslie's dear, sweet friend Susan Beach just called to say that her mother passed away after a lengthy illness.  Please pray for comfort for the family, especially for Susan's daughter Ashley who is taking this very hard.  We love you Susan.

Here is the latest update with Leslie: the last 3 days have been very hard for her but today has been the worst by far.  She has multiple side effect issues right now, she is miserable.  She needs prayers for relief and strength to endure this.  Please pray that we are able manage her pain which will be a big problem since she doesn't tolerate any pain medications.  Another big issue is her sight, it is very frustrating because even when she feels like being up, she can't read her messages or watch TV.  I will be reading her messages to her in the evenings.  Leslie misses the blog a lot but just can't do anything on it right now, so I will keep you updated.  Please pray for encouragement for Leslie. 

6:15 PM - Just got in from a long day.  Sorry I wasn't able to update sooner, I tried from Dr McClay's parking lot but couldn't get a WiFi signal - didn't want to go into Starbucks becase I wanted to get Leslie home .  Dr Ott (neurosurgeon) says Leslie's MRI looks good - no swelling, pressure, bleeding or tumor growth.  He will compare it tomorrow to the last one they did at the Gamma Knife center.  He says the eye sight problem is normal after surgery and should resolve after a while.  Dr McClay (oncologist) says everything looks good - her lab work is OK and the fevers are not uncommon in Yervoy treatment.  He just wants us to keep an eye on the fevers and let him know if they get worse.  We are scheduled for the second Yervoy treatment next Tuesday.

Leslie is not able to see the computer well enough to type right now so she will be dictating to me and we'll be posting in the afternoons for the next several days.

EVENING UPDATE - I had Jeff bring Leslie to the ER about noon today because she has been increasingly tired since she stopped the steroids.  Her vision seems to be getting worse and then there was yesterday's fever - just wanted to check and be sure everything was OK.  After we got MRI results, the ER doctor called Dr Ott (Neurosurgeon) and he is going to see us tomorrow while we are in San Diego.  Dr Ott doesn't seem to be too concerned, hopefully he will tell us tomorrow that this is part of the normal recovery.  Leslie was due for an MRI in a week anyway, now she shouldn't need one again for a little while.  Spent all afternoon in the ER, didn't get home until 8:00 this evening.

Thank you so much for all your calls, cards, thoughts and prayers.   Please pray for strength for Leslie, she is sick and tired of being sick and tired!  Leslie wanted me to tell you she has lots more Craft Extravaganza pictures that she will be posting starting again on Wednesday (no post tomorrow morning, I will update you late tomorrow afternoon when we get back)

Today is another gift from God and He is so good!

Today is the day that the Lord has made!  Let's rejoice and be glad in it!

Good Monday morning!  Oh my goodness....I sure do like keep things exciting don't I? I started running a low grade fever yesterday that started spiking high yesterday afternoon.  By bed time it was at 99.4.  Could be lots of things causing it.  I am off the steroids now which cause lots of adjustments in my body, could be the Yervoy etc... Will be calling the Dr. today.  I see Dr. McClay my oncologist tomorrow in San Diego for a full check up, hopefully and prayerfully we will get answers and a good report. Thank you for your prayers!  God is taking good care of me. One day at a time. 

A HUGE THANK YOU TO SUSAN BEACH, AMY BRINNON AND JAMI PARKER,  MY T.L. WAGGONER FAMILY, FRIENDS, CO-WORKERS, COMMUNITY AND FAMILY.  I couldn't wait to tell you all about the Craft Extravaganza on Saturday.  It was simply awesome and looks like it was a BIG success!  Susan Beach, Amy Brinnon and Jami Parker as well as many, many others out did themselves to put on the best crafting event this Imperial Valley has seen.  When I got there I was so blown away.  I know that everyone who came was so happy that they did.  I only made it through about 1 1/2 hours but am so thankful that I was able to do that.  They had a comfy chair all ready for me to kick back on as soon as I got there. 

I have many pics that I want to share with you all.  Will post many this week.  Please feel my BIG hugs wrapped around each and everone of you.  Your generosiity was endless.  Here are a few pics.  More to come and more about the event too.

Prayer requests:  Pray for someone who has been having terrible headaches these  past few days.  Pray they feel better soon.  A couple of people have asked for prayer for their surgery recoveries to go smoothly and that they won't be in pain.  Pastor Angel Linda has a big week coming up.  Keep her in your prayers that everything goes smoothlly for her. 

Deuteronomy 32 verses 3 - 4:  I will proclaim the greatness of the Lord.  How glorious he is!  He is the Rock.  His work is perfect.  Everything he does is just and fair.  He is faithful, without sin.
