Good Tuesday morning!  Where did the month of January go?  Can't believe that today is February 1st.  The kids at school are all excited about Valentine's Day coming.  Doesn't it seem like we just had Christmas?

I believe that Valentine's Day is not only a holiday to celebrate romantic love, but to thank the God of love for all of our family and the friends in our lives. Our wonderful God loves us today, tomorrow and everyday.  That is a promise and one we can always count on.  He loves us with such unconditional love.  Doesn't matter what we have done, He forgives and still loves us. Awwww......the perfect Valentine!

Here are some pics of my little love Tyler from the park.  Here he sees all the park toys and starts running towards them.

Here he is at the first toy he gets to.  He is giggling with excitement!

Prayer requests:  I have a prayer request from someone who would like the prayer warriors here to pray for them.  This person is suffering from a terrible addiction.  They want prayers to help them to mentally be prepared to fight this and to stay strong.  They want prayers for their family too.  The whole family has been suffering because of this.  ---We will pray!  Big ((HUGS)) to you.

Psalms 89 verses 1 & 2: Forever and ever I will sing about the tender kindness of the Lord!  Young and old shall hear about your blessings.  Your love and kindness are forever; your truth is as enduring as the heavens.

Read the bible in a year:  Today.....Leviticus 1 - 4.  Tomorrow (Wednesday) Leviticus 5 - 7.  Remember to hang in there with these next two books.  It talks a lot about old testament laws.

Have a terrific day everyone!  Today is another gift from God and He is so Good!

Question......Do you clean as you cook or do you make a big mess and wait until the end??  I clean as I cook.....Mike however makes a huge mess and cleans at the end.  He is such a great cook though!  :)

Good Monday morning!!  How was your weekend?  Our family had a nice one.  I finally spent some time with my sweet grandbaby Tyler.  Our family went to the rib cook off in Holtville on Saturday.  It was great seeing lots of people that I haven't seen in a while and we ate some good food!  We took Tyler to the park right there in Holtville and let him play.  He had so much fun!  I have some pictures (yes, I finally got to take some) and will share them throughout the week.  He is just getting to be such a big boy who seems to do and talk more and more everyday.  It melts my heart that he calls me Nani now and gets excited when he pulls into the driveway of my house.  He knows where he is at and probably knows that he will be spoiled when he gets here too.  Love it!

Church is always great on Sunday.  Love my church family and don't know what I would do without them.  Sunday night Mike and I went to dinner with our friends Mickey and Peggy Dale at the Thai food restaurant in El Centro called Exotic Thai.  If you have not been before and have never tried Thai food before, it is a must!  The food was awesome.  We all ordered something different and tried it all.  Very, very good!

Here are a couple pictures of Tyler at the rib cook off.  Here he is looking around and has spotted some balloons.  Then he made a beeline right to them.  He thought they were all for him.

Prayer requests:  For a friend who is having some health issues right now.  Please pray for her strength.  Also for Lorri Cavins who is having a biopsy today.  Pray that the procedure goes well and that she gets nothing but good news from it.  Also for someone who has made a big decision that is going to change their life dramatically.  Pray for God's continued guidance in the next fews months.

Psalms 86 verses 3, 4 & 5:  Be merciful, O Lord, for I am looking up to you in constant hope.  Give me happiness, O Lord, for I worship only you.  O Lord, you are so good and kind, so ready to forgive; so full of mercy for all who ask your aid.

Read the bible in a year:  Today Exodus 39 - 40.  Tomorrow (Tuesday) Leviticus 1 - 4. Now, Leviticus and the book of Numbers is a little harder to get through.  Hang in there with these next two books.  We have made it through 2 books so far!  Everyone is doing awesome!  Join us in reading if you want to.

Have a marvelous day everyone!  Today is another gift from God and He is so Good!

Question of the day......Do you collect anything?  What is it?

Good Saturday morning!  What is everyone up to this weekend?  I am looking forward to relaxing and spending some fun time with family and friends.  I saw this poem the other day and wanted to share it.  I am sure most of you have read it before but here it is again.  Isn't it wonderful that each morning we wake up with God's new mercies and grace?  Take a deep breath and ask God to walk every step with you today and everyday.

Another Chance

HelenSteiner Rice

How often we wish for another chance
to make a fresh beginning.
A chance to blot out our mistakes
And change failure into winning.
It does not take a new day
To make a brand new start,
It only takes a deep desire
To try with all our heart.
To live a little better
And to always be forgiving
And to add a little sunshine
To the world in which we're living.
So never give up in despair
And think that you are through,
For there's always a tomorrow
And the hope of starting new

I would like to wish my friend Caroline Jaime a very "Happy Birthday" today!!  I know you have had some great birthday fun already!  I hope the rest of your weekend is great too!

I don't have a picture for today!  Can you believe it?  I haven't seen Tyler all week.  I plan on taking some pics of him this weekend.  I am definitely having Tyler withdrawals.

Prayer requests:  For my friend Lorri Cavins who is having a biopsy on Monday.  Also pray that her PET scan will be clean and for continued healing and strength.  Also for a friend's father who is very ill right now.  Pray for wisdom for the Drs. that are treating him and that he will recover quickly.

Psalms 75 verse 1:  How we thank you, Lord!  Your mighty miracles give proof that you care.

Read the bible in a year:  Today....Exodus 33 - 35.  Sunday......Exodus 36 - 38.  Monday....Exodus 39 - 40.

Have a super day and weekend everyone!  See you on Monday!  Today is another gift from God and He is so Good!

Question of the day......Do you like onions?  Yes I do.

Good Friday morning!!  Are you all ready for the weekend?  Smiling REALLY big here!  I "happy danced" all day long yesterday!  Just ask my co-workers!  :)  Thank you for all the wonderful e-mails, calls, cards, texts and comments!  Each one is a treasure to me.  I am so happy that the weekend is just about here.  It has been quite a week.  Looking forward to a hopefully relaxing weekend.

Guess who is 15 months old today??  Yep....Tyler Michael.  I have missed Tyler a bunch this week.  He started getting sick early in the week and I have had to force myself to stay away.  I just don't want to take the chance of catching what he has.  Hopefully this weekend I will be able to see him and smother him in hugs and kisses.....and take some new pictures for you!

Here is a picture that I had Mike take on Wednesday.  This is outside of Dr. McClay's office.  It is the same fountain that I took the picture in when I graduated from doing chemo.  Only this time it was a little too cold to stand in.  (Heck....I should of done it anyways) My friend Peggy Severe always asks me to take another picture by the fountain.  So here it is Peg......right after I got the great news!

 Leslie Thumbs Up

This smile from me is not only because I received awesome news, but because I have Jesus Christ as the center of my life and HOPE in my heart.  That is my biggest hearts desire for everyone else too.

Angel Linda......I will post your picture here as soon as I get one from you.  I know that a lot of people want to know what you look like.  Sami too!

Thank you again everyone for your faithful prayers!  What a tremendous power prayers are!

Prayer requests:  I know of 2 people now who have interviews for a job.  Please keep them in your prayers that the interviews go great and that they will get the job.  Let's continue to remember our military and their families in our prayers.  Pray that God will protect them and keep them safe while they are serving our country.

Psalms 69 verse 32:  The humble shall see their God at work for them.  No wonder they will be so glad!  All who seek for God shall live in joy.

Read bible in a year:  Today...Exodus 30 - 32.  Tomorrow (Saturday)....Exodus 33 - 35.  If you still haven't started and think you are too are not.  Just jump in and join us where we are at now.  It is going really well!

Have a fantabulous day everyone!  Today is another gift from God and He is so Good!

Question of the day.....When you were a kid, did you ever get a chance to fly a kite?  Yes I sure did.  I don't really see too much of it now a days but I remember having a great time doing it as a kid and with my kids.  Definitely a "must do" with Tyler when he is old enough.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!   Good Thursday morning!!  We have been thanking and praising our wonderful God and happy dancing since we left Dr. McClay's office!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR PRAYERS!!!  He said the PET scan showed that the little spot on my lung that he has been watching has "lit up" less then last time which is a good thing.  He did find a tiny spot in one of my lymph nodes in my lung but says that is very common during the cold and flu season and wasn't concerned about it at this time.  But since it was there he wants me to do another PET scan in 2 months instead of waiting 4 months, just to be sure it is nothing.  Other then that he said I was doing great and that he would see me again in 2 months!  YES!!  I AM SOOOOO HAPPY!!!  So excited!!!!

My neurosurgeon, Dr. Ott, wants another brain scan in 2 weeks to make sure everything is okay from the gamma knife surgery.  So that will be the next thing on my medical agenda.  I can't believe that I had that done 2 weeks ago.  I am feeling good!

I have another miraculous story to share with you.  I had asked for prayer for Mike and I on the way up to San Diego for our anxiety.  So on the way up I fell asleep and just as we were getting to Alpine (a mountain area just before you get into San Diego) I woke up.  I looked out the front windshield and this is what was directly in front of us!  Can you believe it????  I CAN!!!  What a miracle!  No coincidence here!  I told Mike, nobody is going to believe this.  I quickly grabbed my camera (because you all know I have it with me all the time) and took pictures.

In God's Hands 1
Here is one up closer.  Hallelujah!!  What an awesome thing to happen.  I was so uplifted and comforted by God and your prayers the whole way!  I was at peace.

In God's Hands 2
Again, thanks so much for your love, constant encouragement and for faithfully praying.  I just hope you all realize that it means everything to me to have people from all over the world praying.   I am truly humbled.  I give all the glory to our precious God!

Prayer requests: My sweet Tyler, Jenna, Ryan and brother Donald are all sick.  Please pray they get better quickly.  I have a request for someone who is dealing with a ton of stress in their life right now.  This person is overwhelmed with some serious decisions that need to be made.  Please pray for God's guidance and strength to get them through.  Also for a friend who has a lot going on at work right now.  Please pray that it will be smooth sailing and that everything will get done, and deadlines will be met and that there will be no stress.

Psalms 68 verse 19:  What a glorious Lord!  He who daily bears our burdens also gives us our salvation.

Read the bible in a year:  Today Exodus 28 - 29.  Tomorrow (Friday)  Exodus 30 - 32.

Have a super day everyone!  Today is another gift from God and He is so Good!

Question.....Where is you favorite place to go and get an ice cream?
