Good Wednesday morning!!  You know what today is??  Yes.....pie making day!!  Got my little sidekick Tyler with me and he is going to help Nani make them.  Nothing like getting an early start on how to make pies!  He should be a pro by the time he is 5 years old.  I absolutely love the smells of Thanksgiving baking and cooking!  Having Tyler here with me makes it extra fun!

I was asked by a few people what my family is doing for the entertainment this year after the Thanksgiving dinner.  Well I have it all planned out.  Have you ever watched the game show "Minute To Win It"??  That is what we are doing and I have some great challenges for my family.  I would tell you about the games now but my family reads this blog and I want it to be a surprise.  I will tell you all about it after Thanksgiving.  We always do a "kick off to Christmas" gift exchange too.  Everyone brings a gift that will go to either a boy or girl and then we play the 'steal the gift' game.

I have family getting in today and I am so very excited to see everyone.  If you are traveling, I pray that you have a safe and very fun trip.

Praise!!!  Lorri Cavins surgery went great on Monday!  Please keep praying for her recovery.  She will be in the hospital till Monday.  Also keep Patty McDonald in your prayers for a speedy recovery from her knee surgery.  She is doing really well too. 

1 John 4 verse 16:  We know how much God loves us because we have felt his love and because we believe him when he tells us that he loves us dearly.  God is love, and anyone who lives in love is living with God and God is living in him.

Good Tuesday morning!!  I am so thankful!  I am so thankful!  Thank you God for waking up to another cool and beautiful morning!  Wow!!  Only 2 more days until Thanksgiving.  Are you ready?  Today little Tyler has a Drs. appointment for his 1 year shots.  I totally understand why he has to get the shots.....I just don't have to like it.  Hopefully he will do what he did the last time and shout a little squeak and then he was over it.

Tyler and Wyatt had a fun day together yesterday.  Lisa and I walked them around the mall and they played on all the toys and they even sat on Santa Claus.  I was proud of both of them.  I wasn't sure if the jolly old elf was going to scare them or not.

My San Diego Chargers won last night!!  WooHoo!!  This Sunday they will be in Indianapolis to play the Colts.  My family in Indiana, my friends Mary Jo Ramsay, the Hudelson Family, Clyde Carson and Jenna Severe are huge Colts fans.  But I say to you all......GO CHARGERS!!!

Prayer requests:  I have a request from someone who gets so depressed when the holidays come.  There are a number of circumstances that started it.  Please pray for her strength and peace to get through a difficult time.  She is asking for the Lord to bring  joy back into her life again.  To this sweet lady......we all love you and are praying for you!

Good Monday morning everyone!!  I sure do hope that you all had a great weekend and got some rest.  Rest is all I seem to do lately.  I did get out of the house for a while with Jenna on Saturday.  I mostly just laid on her couch but it was nice because I got to look at her walls instead of mine.  It was also FUN because I played with Tyler.  I hadn't been around him for a week and I was having terrible withdrawals.  I nearly cried with excitement when I saw him.  He is the best medicine for me!  I felt so much better on Sunday.  Tyler came over for a little while and we made the best soft pumpkin cookies with a glaze on top.  Thanks Leann Drewry!  That was a great recipe!

My mom is in California now for a visit.  She is at Monica and Gregg's house in San Diego right now.  I will be seeing her on Wednesday!  Yay! 

I read this quote yesterday.....When asked if my cup is half-full or half-empty my only response is that I am thankful I have a cup.  So true!

I have Tyler with me for the next few days while I am off and mommy has to work.  Later today he has a play date with his buddy Wyatt.  Grandma Lisa has Wyatt today so we are getting the grandson's together.  Here is a picture of Tyler reading the new Thanksgiving turkey book that Poppi and Nani bought him.  He LOVES books!

Prayer requests:  For Lorri Cavins.  She has been fighting melanoma cancer and she is going through yet another procedure today.  She will be in the hospital for 7 - 10 days.  Please pray that everything goes great today and that it works and that she will be fully healed of this ugly disease.  Pray for her family too for strength.  We love you Lorri!  Also pray for Brett Bryant to continue to fully recover from his skate boarding accident.

Prayer requests:  For the peace and comfort for families that are grieving the loss of a loved one.  We especially need to keep them in our prayers as the holidays approach.  It is a very difficult time of the year because the holidays aren't quite the same without our loved ones here.

I hope everyone has had a great week!  I am sad that I am going to miss the kindergarteners today performing their Thanksgiving program.  They are so cute dressed as pilgrims and indians.  Take some pics for me Waggoner teachers and parents.  :) 

I am feeling much better, just a little weak.  Everything went great yesterday with all my tests.  Now waiting until the 30th for my results.

I have to thank you all so much for the incredible support, encouragement and love you have shown to me.  These last few days were tough but the extreme kindness from so many friends and family made it easier and is so appreciated.
