Good Thursday morning! I am happy to say that I am feeling pretty good. Very excited to be leaving tomorrow for our trip. I will be blogging tomorrow but won't be back on till Monday. Today I will be getting some laundry done and pack for our trip. It is a great feeling knowing that I am going somewhere that is not for a medical appointment but for fun!!

Well the Doctor's office made it official yesterday and Jenna is having a boy!!!! We are all so excited!! We would of been excited for a girl too because we are just plain excited about our first grandbaby!! So this "Nanie" is ready to start shopping for her grandson!! Of course when football season rolls around my grandson will be covered from head to toe in San Diego Charger clothes. Can't wait to buy him those! Mick & Peg.....does Kara have her jersey??

LOVE the fruit smoothie recipes! Yeah.....I should of mentioned that I don't eat banana's. I have really tried to like bananas but just can't do it. I think it is a texture thing. But I will definitely try some of those recipes without the bananas. Love the chocolate ones Denise and Randi!! Ha! :) I just wanted something different from what I have made in the past.

Have a super day everyone!!! Today is another gift and God is so Good!!!

By the way.......what is the first thing you drink in the morning? Mine is water then some coffee. I like smoothies for a snack later.

Hallelujah and thank God for little boys-ahhhh, I am tickled blue... Gosh, how will he make up his mind between Kasey and Cori????? Well, everyone who knows me well knows I do not do coffee; it is always diet coke. You know, I can't believe I have not developed kidney stones-yet!I am going to go and 'knock on wood'. O.K., I am back. Just got home from CBK Professional Development; day 3-WOW! I am a bit 'tuckered'. I have to create a mental picture for you - We were listening to some rap tunes about a slippery fish, etc. You know we were all doing the motions and all. Well, at the end a YOUNG teacher was showing us some breakdance moves. You know how you hold out one arm and you hold a foot with the other hand and you jerk back and forth????? YEP, you got it, this not so young (body-wise) teacher had to try and I laughed so hard that you know what I almost did-yep, an accident. BUT I WAS COOL AND NO! I am taking tylenol P.M. tonight because I know I will be sore tomorrow; I feel the pain already in my neck, yes, my neck. It was probably the jerking!!!! Have fun! And Denise, are you still dizzy??? Do you react to circular motions the same as me??? Orrrrrrr, was it that my blog was going in circles? How are you feeling right now??? O.K. Randi, let Krissy be the person in control, everybody needs to feel control from time to time. I hear great things about the trip; I am thankful that young people get to have this opportunity. Oh, Leslie, if you really want to like bananas, try FREEZING them. That gives em a brand new texture. And if you melt chocolate chips on sliced bananas first and THEN freeze them, that is really yummy. But if you really don't like em, don't bother. Lots of other fruit. Love, Ev

Forgot to say what I drink first in the morning. Well, usually apple juice for taking my pills (when U get to be a great, great aunt, U gotta take pills, but most are vitamins) and after those first sips I put the rest in the freezer to chill before breakfast. Ever drink icy apple juice? Yummy! as good as a smoothie! Still praying in AL. Love, Ev

Boys are awesome! Mine still likes to do things with me so I cherish those times! He will even ask me if I want to go to the movies! He's a good kid and I'm happy to have had one of each. Congrats Granie! I am with Randi, COFFEE!!!! I am the first one up in my house too and need to refuel from the night. Since I don't sleep well, I'm always exhausted when morning comes and need that pick me up. I love Coffee People coffee Donut Shop coffee for Keurig home brewers with sugar free Vanilla creamer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My mouth is watering just thinking about it! Congratulations Nanie! On both your grandson and your health news! Yay!!! You two will be such awesome grandparents. Yes, Kara has a Chargers cheerleader outfit that we'll have to replace before football season as she outgrew it a long time ago. Oh, I'm so very happy for you! Would love to know Jenna's colors for the nursery (of course, blue -- any shade of it -- has always been my fav. color) Enjoy Universal. Last went a couple of years ago. Love the park. Air was so clean; didn't feel so crowded as Disneyland can (that's why we like Knott's, too). And the mall outside the park is fun too. Have a terrific time! Love you!

Yay! A boy!!!!! :) How exciting. Congratulations!! I'm so happy for you. Have a great time at Universal Studios. Don't stand too close to the fire in the Backdraft thing. Don't let the dinosaurs eat you on the Jurassic Park ride. :) Eat LOTS of junk food. The first thing I drink in the morning is coffee. It's "Instant Human". I'm the first one up (by about an hour) to make sure that I am sumwhat civil by the time everyone else crawls out of bed (I've downed about three cups by then!). Yes, I rely heavily on the great stuff.

WOO-HOO a baby boy on the way! That's awesome! I'm soooooo happy for everyone. Now to get to business with my....ooopps! Shouldn't go there...hehehehe. Never mind, I didn't say a word! :0) I kind of figured that little guy would be decked out in Chargers stuff...come football season or not! Please give Jenna and Ryan my love and a big hug! I continue to keep all three of them in my prayers. Things here are good. Had another hectic evening with Samantha...another low blood sugar before bedtime and setting her monitor off during the night...but all turned out well and appeared to be nothing to call the doctor about...again, thankfully. We have our year-end review all set, so now I'm under fire to get the paperwork done...by Monday morning! I wanted to get it done early, because of all the upcoming doctor appointments and two graduations (the Bible School and my niece's high school). With all that's on my calendar right now...without anything more coming up...June will be over before it even gets started. I don't like seeing the summer months be so busy because the next thing I know, we'll be plunged back into that long winter season! YIKES!!!! Well, I'm gonna head out and get things done.
