I'm glad you're feeling better about it now though. You inspire me so much how full of faith in our great God you are. Dear Leslie, I love the picture you painted in my mind of how you prayed before God's feet, I too will see this beautiful picture tonight, while I talk to God. I also feel a real peace about your visit with your doctor tomorrow. Keep your wonderful positive attitude, Leslie! We love you and we were so thankful that you and Jenna were able to celebrate Joaquin's special day! Thank you and Jenna for the gifts. The clothes will be worn all winter long. I went to visit while Victor and Matthew went to Mexicali. We played with the toys he received and I had a lot of fun! I just love toys and books! Dear Leslie, Please don't fret about your Mammogram report. I've gotten abnormal results before (more than once) and they were nothing but swollen lymph nodes. (I have lymph nodes embedded within the breast tissue, so this is common). There are LOTS of reasons for abnormal results. I bet yours is just scar tissue. We know for a fact you have that, right? Herb and I are praying, in fact we are getting on our knees right now. Love and prayers.

Hi Leslie...a little later than normal for me to drop by, but I've been on the go since 3:45 a.m. - well that's what time I woke up & couldn't go back to sleep anyway! I was due to get up a 5 a.m. because I had to take Sharon to get her port in this morning. She was so disappointed (even a little angry!) when they couldn't do it. She started having a little pain near her incision site on Friday & had been taking her temperature all weekend (no fever thankfully!) but the site kept getting sorer & she felt another 'lump'. She told the doctor this morning she wanted it checked when they took her in for the port. Well, they barely had her sedated & found that she had an infection in that area! They did a needle aspiration & drained off all the built-up fluid but because of the infection, they couldn't put the port in. They ran an IV bag of antibiotics before they discharged her. She's also got a 10 day prescription for antibiotics. She has to be seen in the Dr.'s office Wednesday & he's hoping to get her back on the OR schedule Friday. She got really upset because it was 1 month ago today that she had the mastectomy & they wanted her chemo started w/in 30 days of the surgery. She has a very agressive form & they didn't want to put off starting chemo more than 30 days so it doens't 'take hold' somewhere else. So needless to say, it was a tough day for her. She was so ready to get this done & get her chemo started. She's already resolved herself to losing her hair (which they told her WILL DEFINITELY happen), so this was a setback. A minor 'speed bump' is what I told her. We had a great talk this morning prior to surgery & again afterward. She's gotten a TON of 'angel mail' & that's helped keep her spirits up. She's also becoming more inquizative about God & salvation...so if you all could be praying for that to continue, I'd appreciate it. Oh yeah, I've been 'officially' adopted today too! Sharon's now decided that I'm "her" daughter & that my mom just has to share me & that's that! HA! Gotta love her! In fact, she told the nurses at the hospital today, that I was her daughter/best friend/angel/PASTOR!!! OMG!!! I pray that God gives me all the right words & actions to get her saved!!! So much more I could tell you about today - it was POWERFUL! I'm taking Terrie O's challenge & I'm bombarding the Heavens on your behalf, Leslie! I'm staning firm in the belief that BY HIS STRIPES YOU ARE HEALED & that we only need to see the manifestation of that healing in the report! I have a word for you, Leslie Girl (& a challenge for You & ANYONE else who cares to take it on!) - Psalm 91 & Psalm 118:17! Pray them out loud!!! Psalm 118:17 says "I will not die but live, & will proclaim all that the Lord has done"! Psalm 91 is a prayer of protection from ALL things! God can & will do it! Personally, Leslie, I WILL NOT CEASE IN PRAYING! There are so many who need prayer: You, Sharon, Little Samuel (who we were told has suffered some minor brain damage from his intense chemo - BUT we KNOW that the LORD IS ABLE TO DO EXCEEDING, ABUNDANTLY MORE THAN WE COULD EVER THINK OR ASK!) He is moving RIGHT NOW on behalf of everyone! Praise Jesus! You will OVERCOME! Thank you to everyone for the b/day wishes - it was a great b/day. QOTD - No, we haven't started decorating yet - we've been waaaaay too busy at this point. And Leslie, that 'little thing you've been praying for me about'...IT IS FINISHED, RESOLVED, DONE! And God was SO GOOD - He did to me, as He did to Job...he restored to me MORE than was taken! Long story, best left for another time! In fact, the Holy Spirit is stirring in my heart & soul to write the inspirational story - comparing the incidents w/those that happened to God's righteous ones in the Bible & submit it for publication to Christian magazines! Praying for good results tomorrow. Love you Les and, I too, BELIEVE! Steve was able to take his first bite of "REAL" food today. He is gaining strength each day. It's amazing. Today's question - This was the first year since I moved out of my parent's house (uuuhhh 10+ years ago) that I have put up lights outside. Of course, this is the first year that I own my own home, too. :) We went yesterday and bought lights and the tree. Shawn put our lights up yesterday. We have two beautiful metal reindeer from Target (after Christmas sale!) in our front yard. The tree was too big to fit in the house. We had to lop of about a foot. haha... It was a little "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation"... It is sitting in water now and we will decorate it tonight. :) Shawn put our stockings up this weekend while I was taking a nap. ha! Great hubby. :) Love you Les! MEAN IT! :)

Saying lots of prayers for you Leslie! Tyler is such a cutie and looks like he enjoyed his turkey dinner. We got all of our Christmas decorations up last weekend. Two trees and the inside all decked out. We haven't done anything outside yet. Not sure if we will or not since that will probably involve having to buy new stuff to work with this house. We might wait until after Christmas to get everything on sale for next year. Take care and I'm sending you lots and lots of (((hugs))).
