Praying for you all today, Mike, and inspired by Leslie's continuing legacy. I pray God's comfort for you all, and a glimpse of His hand through all these events.

Love the pictures Mike! thank you for sharing these wonderful photos and memories with all of us! We loved Leslie and will miss her smile each morning and encouraging words. She was such an inspiration to all of us!

Leslie is such a beautiful person with a beautiful family. Mike...I cannot imagine how difficult it is to sit at your computer and update this blog, but I want to thank you for doing it. I log on to it every day to read the updates. I guess a part of me still wants to believe that this is all a bad dream and we are soon going to wake up to a new post by Miss Les. I will never forget the day I handed my pocket angel of HOPE to her. Something inside of me told me it was time to pass on the amazing gift of HOPE that was given to me in a dark hour. I never expected it to turn in to what it did. It was a connection we shared and I am so thankful that He gave us that moment. Leslie was put in my life in a way I would never imagine. It's funny how His timing can be so right. I learned from Leslie. I laughed with Leslie. I cried...hard...with Leslie. I respected Leslie. I vented to Leslie...OFTEN! I trusted Leslie. I loved Leslie. Thank you, Mike, for sharing her. You and your family are in my every thought...

Hi Mike & Family. My silence during all of this was because bright & early the morning after Leslie went to heaven, my family & I left for a pre-planned trip to FL. Since there was nothing I could do, we went ahead with the trip. My heart was broken, but I had many wonderful times & experiences. Even had many encounters with Leslie while I was there. Amazing. There were so many times when I'd see or get to do something amazing & I'd want to jump on my phone to call her & share it with her or while I was shopping, I'd see something special that normally I'd buy & send to Leslie & grief would wash over me because I'd realize she wasn't with us on earth anymore & then I would see something incredible - like Leslie telling me she knew, she seen, she was there & it gave me a lot of comfort. I can't count the number of times that happened. In fact, one day while I was on the beach, I was seriously contemplating giving up my duties with ChemoAngels - these are the times that make what I do so difficult - but I know that Leslie would never want that especially because of what the cards meant to her. I've taken time this evening (we just got home a couple hours ago) to catch up on the blog posts & seeing the photos have been so comforting. The tears still come very freely. My thoughts & prayers are with you all during this & I'll stick around as long you all will allow me to be a part of your lives. I wasn't just connected to Leslie, I was also connected to you (Mike), Tyler, Jenna & Ryan, Jeff & all of you blog friends. I'll be at the service tomorrow in spirit. Great picture mike!! I remember Leslie always encouraging people to send cards and will continue to "pass it on" by sending cards along to others. Thanks for the reminder! Patty

I loved getting Leslie cards in the mail. She was the first person to ever send me a hand made card. I'm going to miss her cards so much. And that is a beautiful picture of her. Hugs to you and your family.

Dear Mike; Thank you for the lovely pictures of My Dearest Leslie. I am thankful that she encouraged us to send cards and read the Bible. Have read the Bible thru a couple of times but was not aware of what cards could mean to people until Leslie encouraged me to do this. I've heard back from people that would not have let me know how they were doing if not for the encouragement card. She certainly knew how to draw people together. I can understand all the friendships she has. Hold fast to the Lord's hand, Mike, these next couple of days will be taxing on your energy and emotions but you will feel Leslie's presence in this rememberance. Hugs to you, Aunt Maryann

She wss the best at encouraging us to write cards... and Mike I remember as far back as when Jenna and Bre were babies that she was always the best at sending cards "just because" I always admired that about her. Hugs to all of you. Brenda
