Good morning!!  Thank you all for your words of encouragement on here and on the phone.  I am feeling the prayers and God's peace.  I know we are getting to the end of my treatments  and I want to thank you all for sticking by me this long and seeing me through.  What a journey this has been.  I really need to write a book.  Would you read it?  Ha!

Today I am getting stuff ready for Mike's birthday tomorrow.  We will be celebrating his birthday  tomorrow and Saturday.  I LOVE family birthdays!!  We make them fun every year!

Thanks so much Randi Stilwell for the great dinner last night.  You are an awesome cook and your new house is beautiful!  I had a wonderful time!

What countries have you been to outside of the U.S.??

Good morning!!  How was your weekend?  Mine was great.  Got to do a little birthday shopping with Jenna for Mike and Ryan.  Also made it to the movies too.  But it is HOT, HOT, HOT here.  So rested a lot in the cool house too.

I am asking you all this morning if you will pray for my anxiety.  It is rearing it's ugly head again.  I have anxiety for two reasons.  One is that I only have 4 treatments left and I wish I could do them now and get it over with.  I am so close to being finished that I wish I was.  Do you understand what I am saying?  The other reason is because I am having my full body PET scan next week.  I feel good about it but it is still nice when you hear from the Dr. that all is CLEAR!  My PET scan is on the 28th but I won't find out my results until the 30th.  As I have said before......the waiting is the hardest part.

While I really feel God's peace about this most of the time, there are times when the anxiety creeps in anyways.  But through my weakness Gods strength shines!  I am also having a few side effect issues.  They haven't been too bad but are still there.  Thanks for praying for me.  I do feel those prayers!

Thank you Aunt Edith and your ladies bible study group for the sweet card.  I so appreciate them keeping me in their prayers.  Thanks to my sister-in-law Lori for the sweet letter and for all the prayers too.

Good morning!  It's Saturday!  What are your weekend plans?   I am hanging with the family this weekend.  Jenna and I have Mike and Ryan's birthday's coming up soon and we need to get working on that.  We all might head to the movies  too.  Just taking it easy this weekend.  Too hot to do much outside except swim!  Hope you all have an awesome weekend!  Have fun with whatever you are doing!  I won't be blogging again until Monday.  Take care.  Thank you so much for faithfully praying for me! Good morning!!  I have a huge smile on my face this morning!  I am so happy that my friend Bill Cartwright was diagnosed yesterday as being cancer free!!  Thank you Lord!!  I am also happy to say that I only have 4 more treatments left!!  The light at the end of the tunnel is starting to get brighter now.  I am looking to celebrate BIG once I am all done!  How do I feel today?  Like I had a chemo treatment yesterday.  Mike got called into work today and Jeff is working so I have an appointment with my couch to be lazy all day.  I am going to read, sleep, watch T.V., sleep. eat and sleep some more.  I am going to try and lay low all day with my Lola.  It won't last long because I can't stand laying around all day even though I know I should.  We'll see if I can behave. Ha!  Even on chemo I seem to still have some energy.

Thanks for the visit Caroline Jaime!  That was fun and I really enjoyed catching up with you.  Thank you also for the sweet gift.

UPDATE:  Everything went fine today.  I will tell you more about that tomorrow.  What I want to tell you is some very exciting news!!!  Bill Cartwright is CANCER FREE!!!!!  I got the call while I was in a restaurant in San Diego and I started doing the happy dance right then and there.  I am so happy for my friend Bill!!!  I am praising and thanking God!!!  That is just the best news!!  Thank you all for praying!!   Aaaahhhhh......the power of prayer!  Have a super evening!

Hey all of you prayer warriors out there.....could you please pray for Bill Cartwright today?  He gets the results to his PET scan and we are praying in faith that he has NO MORE CANCER!!!!  Please pray for him to have peace today as he goes to San Diego to get his results.  He appreciates all of your thoughts and prayers.
