Good Monday morning!  How was your weekend?  Ours was busy and fun!  Our whole family was together doing stuff all weekend.  If you didn't see the opening ceremonies of the Olympics then you need to find a way to see them.  They were the best opening ceremonies ever!  Wow!  What a show the country of China put on!  We are enjoying watching the olympics and cheering the good ol USA on! 

My next appointment with the oncologist is September 4th.  Will you please keep me in your prayers that he will be able to help me with some of the side effect issues that I am dealing with?  At this point we just need to pray for no permanant nerve damage.  I know our God is the great physician and can heal me of this.  I have faith in Him that he will see me through.  Not a day goes by that I am not thanking Him and doing the "Happy Dance" for healing me of the cancer.

In the meantime I have been released to go back to work.  I start back August 22nd and am very happy to be going back!  I missed the staff and kids so much!

Just wanted to bring forth one more prayer request.  It is for a friend who shall remain nameless but who needs prayers for healing and to feel God's love and hope in their life right now.  Thank you!

Good morning!  It is Olympic Opening ceremonies day today!  WoooHooo.....I can't wait!  Our family loves watching the Olympics on T.V.  They are coming over tonight and we are cooking and eating chinese food and watching the opening ceremonies together. 

Our anniversary yesterday was fantastic!  We had a great day together doing tons of stuff.  We even made it to the movies last night and saw the  Mummy:  Tomb of the Dragon Emperor.  We love the Mummy movies and this one was good too.  (If you have never seen one they are like Indiana Jones type movies).  Thank you all for your well wishes, cards and phone calls yesterday!  We really appreciated it.

WooooHoooo.....doing the "Happy Dance" for you Bill Cartwright!  So happy to hear your good news yesterday.  You will continue to be in our prayers everyday!  You take good care.  Brenda.....have a great vacation!

Good Morning!  Today is mine and Mike's 26th wedding anniversary!!  26 of the most amazing years!  I have no complaints....he is just the best hubby ever!  We are still so very much in love!  We are the best of friends!  Not doing anything super special this year but are spending the day together doing lots of stuff.  Will let you know what we ending up doing tomorrow.  We are so incredibly thankful for the 26 years that God had blessed us with so far!  Praying for another 26 more!

Good morning!  Had a great day yesterday!  Got to meet up with some of my co-workers at the school I work at and we worked on some things at school.  AAAAAhhhhhh... it is so good to be back!!  I don't officially have to be back until Aug. 22 but it was fun being there, getting things done and visiting with my friends.  I can't even begin to tell you how much I missed that!  I love my job and I love the kids!

I have also been scrapbooking like crazy!  Trying to get a lot of it done before I go back to work and my scrapbooking slows way down.  As most of you know it is a hobby that I love so much.

Thanks Brenda for the update on your dad.  Not a day goes by that we aren't praying for him.  (Bill Cartwright) Looking forward to hearing the next update soon.  If he needs anything please let me know.

Good Monday morning!  How was your weekend?  What did you do?  We had a great weekend celebrating birthdays!  I even bowled a couple of games.  It was fun!  Church yesterday was so awesome.  We are really going to miss our Senior Minister Jeff Hudelson who with his family are moving to Indiana in September to take over a church there. He has been at our church for nine years and they have been the most amazing nine years!  He is a good  and generous wise man who has a wonderful and loving family who our church is going to miss so much.  Our prayers are with you all as you get ready for this transistion.  Gods blessings on your future.  You are so loved!

Thank you all for the continued prayers for my health.  I really appreciate that.  Still having some side effect issues.
