Good morning!  I have my appointment!  I told lots of people already that it is on Monday.  Well that changed yesterday.  My appointment with the accupuncturist is today!!!  I am very excited about this and am ready!  I will let you all know how it went.  Thanks for your continuous prayers!  I have faith that this is going to work!

It is my reminder time again to please send a card, e-mail or note to someone today who could really use some encouragement, hope, a laugh etc......

Things at work are going great!  I am so happy to be back into that routine and working with the kids again.  The staff that I work with is awesome!  They are so encouraging and supportive to me.  Thanks!

Good morning!  Mike talked to the Dr. yesterday that will be doing my acupuncture.  It will be once a week for 10 weeks.  He has had good success with it too.    Please pray that this works and that I am healed from the neuropathy.  I don't know what day I start yet.  They are letting me know when my appointment will be sometime today.  I hope that I start this week.

I have been meaning to announce for a couple of weeks now that my daughter Jenna passed her state boards to be a Registered Dietician!!!  She is the Registered Dietician for Pioneers Memorial Hospital.  It has become the "Family" hospital.  Of course you all know Mike works there but so do his brothers Greg and Bryan and Jenna's sister-in-law Laurie.  We are so proud of Jenna and how hard she worked.

I also want to wish my niece Kayla a very "Happy Birthday" today.  I wish you a great day!!

Got a very busy day today.  I am off to church later.  Then to a big farewell party for our senior pastor who is leaving today.  Then 'FOOTBALL' and then dinner out and a movie.  WOW......should be fun!

Good morning!  My Dr. appointment in San Diego yesterday with my oncologist went great!   ( I just love Dr. McClay!)   I had a full check-up and screening done and everything is good!  We talked in length about the neuropathy and we have decided to try acupuncture first.  Yes....ACUPUNCTURE!  I am very excited about this.  (NO side effects)  My Dr. has had really good success with this on his patients suffering from neuropathy.  We will try this first and if it doesn't work we still have the other treatment option.  So my prayer request to you is that the acupuncture will work.  We learned that  the shots I would take for the other treatments is a 2 hour precedure each time and the side effects are nasty.  Really don't want to go down that road.

If I do have to go down that road it looks like Pioneers Hospital will be able to do the treatment instead of me having to go the the cancer center here.  My Dr. in San Diego will work on that if I need it.  But I am praying that I don't!  I feel really good about this acupuncture thing.  I said before that I trusted in God's timing and I have learned that it is always best to put my trust in Him because it always goes better!  Because of the delays..... I was able to get a different treatment that will probably work and I won't have to go through all of the sickness again.  I won't tell you all of the side effects to that unless I go there.

So..... I can't thank you all enough for your prayers, phone calls and cards.  I am constantly encouraged by everyone!  What a HUGE blessing you are to me and my family and we are so thankful.  I will keep you posted on when I start the acupuncture.

I wish you all a fantastic weekend!  Also......could you please keep my son-in-law Ryan and his family in your prayers.  His Grandpa died this week and the memorial service is tomorrow.

Good morning!  I am leaving today around 1:00 for San Diego.  I found out yesterday what the hold up has been for starting my treatments.  Lets just say that it hasn't been my Oncologists or his offices fault........the hold up is here.  The reason would make you as mad as it did me.  Too long of a story to tell now.  I am just praying that my Dr. can get it fixed for me. I also know that God is in control of the situation.  Thanks for continuing to pray!  I will update either later tonight or tomorrow morning.  Have a great day!  God is Good!!
