Good Monday morning!  I don't know about you but the month of October just flew by.  I know that the next two months will too.  So much always going on this time of year for everyone.  It was a lot of fun handing out candy to the adorable little trick or treaters last night.  The weather was perfect!  Jenna made a delicious "fall" themed dinner last night too.

What a great weekend we had!  Saturday started off with the putting together of the little red wagon that Poppi and Nani bought Tyler for his birthday. I have some really cute pics to share with you later of that.  Poppi and Tyler had so much fun putting that together and going for a ride.  Then we had pumpkin carving time with Tyler.  He was all into it.  I have some pictures to share of that later too.  Then it was PARTY TIME!  Tyler's 1st birthday party was so much fun!  It was a costume party.  He had lots of family and friends sharing in his celebration.  Here are some pics from Tyler's birthday party......the first one is of Tyler enjoying his birthday cake.

This is a picture of some of Tyler's little buddies that came.....Peter Dale, Ernie Vargas, Tyler and Joaquin Jaime.  All of their parents went to high school together and a lot of their grandparents went to school together too.  Watch out Imperial.....here comes the next generation!  Aren't they cute?

Thanks to everyone who came to make it such a memorable birthday for Tyler.  He is elated with his new toys!   More pics tomorrow.

Prayer requests:  Continued prayer for little Samuel Lyndell who we have been praying for. He is 4 years old and is in a huge fight with cancer.  He basically has no immune system and is quarrantined and will be for awhile.  He spiked a fever again and was life flighted to a Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh.  His last round of chemo has made him very sick.  Please keep him and his family in your prayers.  I know what the power of prayer can do and this family needs our prayers.  Please stop for a few seconds and pray.  Also for a few others who have been recently diagnosed with cancer.

2 Corinthians 1 verses 3 & 4:  What a wonderful God we have--he is the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the source of every mercy, and the one who so wonderfully comforts and strengthens us in our hardships and trials.  And why does he do this?  So that when others are troubled, needing our sympathy and encouragement, we can pass on to them this same help and comfort God has given us.

Good Saturday morning!  We are busily getting ready for Tyler's 1st birthday party this afternoon.  I will of course be taking a lot of pictures and sharing them with you next week.  I had a fun day at work yesterday.  The kids were so cute in their Halloween costumes!  I have to say that the staff looked great too.  It amazes me every year how creative some of the costumes are.

This next picture is of Tyler in his Halloween costume.  He wasn't a happy camper at all with the head piece on.  He wanted it off and we barely got this picture before he pulled it off again.  He sure is a cute little lion though.

 My San Diego Chargers are playing in San Diego again on Sunday.  We are playing against the Tennessee Titans.  GO CHARGERS!!

Thank you God for your new mercies and grace each and every day.  Thank you for wisdom and for holding our hands to get us through tough times.  Thank you for amazing peace that passes all understanding!

Don't you just love the cartoon special,  It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown?  I watched it again last night.

Good Friday morning!  This is the day that the Lord has made......let us rejoice and be glad in it!  Thank you God for another beautiful day!   Another week has just flown by!  We have a very busy weekend planned and I am ready.  I look forward to Tyler's birthday party tomorrow.  On Sunday our church is having a Fall Festival and of course in the evening I will be handing out candy to the little trick or treaters.  I love doing this because I love seeing all of the little kids costumes. 

Today I am dressed and ready to go out the door as Glenda the Good Witch from the Wizard of Oz.  I am excited to see all the kids and staff in their costumes.  The students have been ready for this day all month.  It is party day!  Our staff has had awesome food to eat all week. 

I wanted to tell you all that on Wednesday afternoon there was a new tree planted in front of Pioneers Hospital in honor of Bryan.  (Mike, Greg and Jenna all work there)  It was a nice little dedication ceremony and I was so touched by it.  Thanks to everyone who had a hand in this.  A special thanks to Debbie Pritting, Hugo Vicuna and Vincent Sandoval.  Every time we see the tree,  it will be such a nice reminder of our beloved Bryan.  Thank you for continuing to keep our family in your prayers.  We miss him so much.

Prayer requests:  There are several people who are recovering from surgery right now that could use our prayers for strength and a smooth and quick recovery.  Also for those who are suffering from depression. 

John 3 verse 16:  For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son so that anyone who believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

TYLER MICHAEL MIDDLETON'S 1ST BIRTHDAY!!!  HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU SWEET BOY!  NANI AND POPPI AND YOUR WHOLE FAMILY LOVE YOU!!!

Wow!!!  This year flew by!  Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone for letting me share his first year with you.  What a tremendous blessing he has been to me and I am so grateful to God for my good health and healing me of my cancer. To be able to be here with him and to watch him grow.  I pray that I will spend many more years making memories with him.  A grandchild is a true treasure!  You will find me smiling and 'Happy Dancing' today!

Prayer requests:  For our military men and women who are fighting for our country.  That they will stay safe and return very soon to their loved ones here.  May God keep them all under his protection.  Also for a friend of mine's mother-in-law who is having surgery.  That all will go smoothly and that she will have a quick recovery.  And for another friend whose father is dying and it is only a matter of a couple more days.

Deuteronomy 7 verse 9:  Understand, therefore, that the Lord your God is the faithful God who for a thousand generations keeps his promises and constantly loves those who love him and who obey his commands.

Question.....What type of theme birthday party's have you had for your kids?  We did something fun every year for Jenna and Jeff growing up but two of the most memorable ones were of Jenna's fancy tea party with "real" tea cups and all the little girls wearing their mom's fancy dresses and Jeff's pirate party with a pirate map to find a buried treasure chest.  Yep...they actually had to get a shovel and unbury it.  Everyone came in a pirate's costume.  aaahhhhh......fun memories!

Good Wednesday morning!  Don't cry because it is over....smile because it happened. ---Dr. Seuss.   I saw this quote yesterday and wanted to share. Gotta love Dr. Seuss books!  Do you have a favorite Dr. Seuss book?  How is everyone's week going so far? 

I have two more pics to share of Tyler's trip to the mall.  The first one is of him in a taxi stroller.  He loved driving it and honking the horn.  Yeah.....we could of put him in his own stroller, but why do that when they have this cool one for him to drive?  haha!

Prayer requests:  For Angel Linda's friend Sharon who is having a mastectomy this afternoon.  Also for a couple who has asked for prayer for their marriage.  They have asked for prayers to get through some stress and trust issues.  Also for Angel Linda's sister Laura to heal properly and have a successful recovery.  And a special anonymous prayer request that a bad situation turns out to be okay. 

We thank you God for listening to our prayers and we praise you for answering them.
